I bought the trio pack of Christmassy scents. Room filling aroma. I dont normally buy scented wax unless it is a soy base and uses strictly essential oils as synthetics and anything too strong can give me a headache. Often way too cloying for me. However, something about this set drew me to it and I decided to give it a try. I was banking on the "natural and essential oils" as being less perfumed than other scented wax squares. It is pretty darn good! Lovely fragrances that dont trigger a headache. Gently room filling. Not a blast in the face scenting, but more gentle. Still, definitely noticeable. If I have the warmer near by, then I can only having it going for so long before I need turn it off. If I have it in another room, then I can keep it going longer as the aroma just wafts out. The other thing is that I dont need to load up my warmer. I can use one cube over and over. It has lasting power. That would be the "natural" or some synthetic that they use. Regular legit essential oil based wax dont have a strong scent and dont last long (only downfall for me. So I work around this by buying a bottle of the essential oil to add to the melted wax as need be. Not sure why I mentioned this as it has nothing to do with this product I am reviewing, but here we are. lol) So yeh, overall I think this will appeal to those that prefer a super strong scent as it is plenty bold, yet it likely wont be so strong, cloying, and fake to those that are easily nauseated. It releases scent so really dont need the warmer going for long if you dont want it to be chooching all day. I was going to go with 4 stars, but as I wrote this review I decided to buy another pack! So I upped it to 5. I chose another scent trio (pine), so I may update once I try those out. Basically, worth the try.

Once again, this company did NOT disappoint. While many gals are into pumpkin spice-up-yout-life (I tease). I'm more of a apple kinda of gal. Every wax melt I buy from this company, is so on point with how it should smell. I get headaches when I walk into a shop that has a lot of candles and perfume sprays. Y'all know what I'm talking about. Sadly, some stores literally have rules put into place, where am employee has to use a certain scent to "draw people in". It does the opposite for me. Whomever is in charge of Shorties scent department? You rock!! You have a nose of a Frenchman (French woman). I am no scent connoisseur, I just know what I like. Whomever is in charge of marketing, you make these affordable. While, it's not as cheap as supermarket brands, the texture, scent and how long it lasts, is the reason "why". It costs more because you're using quality products Whomever is the owner, heyyyyy Shortie!! Lol. My only suggestion to you is, I think we should bring punch cards back. For every 10 wax melts I purchase, throw in one for free. Or you can submit my name into an entry for a 7 day all inclusive cruise. Whichever works best for you. Hahaha

Great scents. Christmas tree has a hint of vanilla which makes the spruce not over powering, nice suttle. Had melting in my office and got alot of compliments.

They smell so good and I can’t wait to try them all! I love that they’re pet friendly wax tarts, that’s very important to me! I will definitely be ordering more today!!

These smell amazing and are strong however the scent only last for about 8hrs.

I absolutely love these wax melts. I loved them so much I think I bought 3 different sets, the apple set, the musky set with nag champa, and a fresh scents set. Everytime I put the melting container on, my husband comments. And, they last a long time. When they are done, I put them in a pretty tinted glass container in the bathroom for additional scent.

This brand uses a softer wax that melts easily making it very easy to clean whatever container you use. I have an empty tin that came with a small candle in it that is perfect for these melt cubes. One cube usually last about two days. Then I add a second cube to the first one and it lasts a couple of more days. I have used the expensive scent cubes bought at home parties and these are as good as they are. The cool wax is pretty easy to remove. I used an old potato peeler to chip holes in the firm wax until the whole thing breaks into pieces I can dump in the trash. I have tried carrying melted wax to the trash before and the risk of spilling hot wax is just much. So being able to break it up easily is a positive thing for me. I have already bought some more fragrances for the holidays. Update: I ordered the Christmas set of melts and the scent is very weak. I added a second pieces of wax hoping that might increase the fragrance but it didn't. I would say they have poor quality control.

Some of these scents were nice. Some were eh… I did like trying the new scents. But they faded quicker than Scentsy. And did not smell like essential oils. Nice. But not like essential oils. I’ll have to go back to Scentsy. Or candles by Laura.

Exceeded my expectations- can’t pick a favorite of the 3 as they are all amazing. The gardenia seemed least fragrant so I tried that first and was very much impressed with the level of scent and quality. Definitely will buy again!

Beautiful scents for christmas!

Gave this as a gift to my daughter. She hasn't melted them yet but if they smell as good melted as they do while solid they'll be a big hit.

They were ok. But I was looking to a simply pine scent, these are to perfumee for my liking.

I was disappointed with the fragrance throw being weak, the maple vanilla scent smells like pancakes with artificial maple syrup, the vanilla bean is not much different than the cinnamon vanilla which has a nice scent but its hot throw is weak. I'm not sure what blend of waxes are used but the wax has a greasiness to it which could indicate some coconut wax with soy and maybe some paraffin as well.
