My favorite purchase in a long time!
I love popcorn, but the bagged popcorn was making me fat and with the seed oil, it was also unhealthy. I bought this after hearing how air popped popcorn was a low calorie snack with fiber benefits. The price was so affordable and it seemed easy enough to make and clean, so I bought it. I absolutely love this thing! I control the amount of kernels I put in, and in less than 3 minutes the most gorgeous fluffy popcorn comes out and there are hardly any kernels that did not pop! It’s so easy to use and clean, too - I hand wash bc I want to use it before my dishwasher is full enough to run - just a little soap and a rinse! I enjoy it so much that I just purchased another one for a family member and this will be a simple gift for some graduates I know heading off to college. As an aside, I do like butter so I melt a little in the microwave and then I add some popcorn seasoning to the melted butter. I found when I just add the seasoning to the unbuttered popcorn, it doesn’t stick.

Great popper
OK, I was skeptical. I originally bought a made in the USA popper that is essentially hard plastic, and I liked it so much I bought another, but it did have one issue that I didn't like. You couldn't use oil when popping, you had to add whatever oil or flavoring after popping. That was fine with me at the time, since I'm trying to lose weight and not using oil. I went back to microwave poppers because I was thinking about buying one for a family member and I just happened to notice this (and all the silicone poppers) said you can use oil "when" popping. That's a game changer right there if I want to be "bad" and make theater style popcorn with Flavacol and oil/butter. Also, the capacity of this popper is huge, twice of the NordicWare. You can pop 1/2 cup, which is enough for two popcorn lovers in one go. The results just using a little oil and salt were nothing short of amazing. Not only hardly any old maids, but some of the best tasting popcorn I've eaten. The lid that holds down the popcorn actually helps the popcorn pop, and cleanup of everything is super easy. There's no downside to this popper at all. I have to admit, I regret buying the plastic bowl poppers, but they will serve as popcorn bowls after I've popped with this popper.

Use it all the time
So easy. This is the ultimate lazy person's way to do snacking. We have cats that like popcorn so it is lovely that it comes with a convenient 'cover' to keep them out. I waited to make a review to see if it was durable. It is :) Have been using it ~ 3-4 months and putting it in an older model dishwasher and it looks new. The microwave is from the stone age and it hasn't left a mark on the popper. I thought for sure this would melt. I add a little butter and popcorn salt because I like junk on my popcorn. (so do the cats) I wasn't sure I needed this, but I did.

Thumbs up!!
I’m so happy I stumbled across this on Amazon. I’ve had electric air poppers in the past and they take up so much room in my tiny kitchen. This worked perfectly. Not to mention it’s incredibly inexpensive. I suspect it will last a long time. Directions are to wash it before use. I rinsed it with water. Added popcorn to the very bottom line and threw it in the microwave. I have a pretty powerful microwave so I said it at three minutes. Stopped it after about two minutes and with the exception of a few kernels everything popped to perfection. This is a great solution for me. I wanted microwave popcorn, but without the mess of the bagged popcorn. Not to mention all the packaging of the bagged popcorn. Afterward, I collapsed it and put it in a drawer. I recommend it highly.

Good Popcorn
I got this as a healthier alternative to regular popcorn cooked in oil. It's extremely easy to use and even folds up to conserve space in my kitchen cabinets (which I desperately need). However, there were a few problems with it:1. While it did pop the kernels and make high-quality popcorn, it left a good amount of them unpopped, wasting a lot of the kernels.2. The lid on top doesn't do a great job of holding the popcorn in while it's cooking in the microwave, so be mindful about the amount of popcorn kernels you put in as your microwave might end up filled with popcorn.3. I cooked some kernels for too long once and it burnt the popcorn popper. Not a big deal but something worth noting if you care about that stuff.Overall good air popper, just doesn't make large batches.

Durable construction and fun to use
This works great! It makes a lot of popcorn and i can make a healthier version of popcorn in the microwave. You don't add anything to the container before popping corn. If you decide to add anything, I recommend pouring it to another container before adding toppings. I personally use olive oil and salt.I prefer to leave the container clean. The popper does become hot and it's important to use the lid carefully to avoid steam burns. You only need a small amount of kernels to start. You can expect this to last for a long time as long as you only add kernels to microwave and add whatever you like afterwards.

Popcorn is no longer a chore. Easy to use, clean, and store.
I don't see the air-popper coming out of the cabinet ever again. I am not getting the 100% pop that other are reporting but that may be the brand of organic popcorn I am using. This thing is so simple to use, clean, and store though that it has made popcorn a nightly event now. Fill to the line and for our microwave it's 3 minutes on the dot for a satisfactory pop. Toss with spray olive oil if you like and a sprinkle of salt and you are ready for the next episode.

Works great easy to clean
Works great doesn't need oil for popping just use the popcorn setting on the microwave if you have it and stand there and listen until you don't hear pops for a couple seconds. Get some butter/oil topping and flavacol seasoning salt and you'll have awesome popcorn
