I was hesitant to buy a digital piano, but thrilled that I did.
Having grown up playing traditional pianos, I wasn't sure how I would feel about owning a digital one. I decided on this model, the Donner DEP-45, because it has the full 88 keys of a traditional piano and the keys are semi-weighted, which is supposed to give a very close experience to playing a standard piano.Unpacking and setting up the piano was very straightforward. Only the stand requires assembling and instructions are included. All in all, it took me about 15 mins.I have been thoroughly enjoying playing this piano and trying out all it's functions. I am thrilled at the quality and feel of it. It doesn't feel like a cheap, knock off of the real deal, like I feared it might. This is a beautiful piece of equipment that I hope to enjoy for many years.

Bluetooth is tricky
The sound of this electric piano is good in classic and electric piano mode. The organ, strings and bass mode produce delay with my unit. MIDI requires cable although instructions seem to indicate Bluetooth. With my unit the Bluetooth only enabled output, not input. Other’s may have a different experience.

This piano delivers quality, sound, value, portability!
I gave this as a birthday gift to my nephew who is in the Air Force and he loves it! Keys are weighted like a regular piano, sounds great when we facetimed. I'm a pianist also and was very pleased when I heard him play! It's been a year and still delivers. I had it insured and recommend it to others looking for a piano.

Easy to handle, good quality, nice sound
The media could not be loaded. The assembling of this piano is pretty easy, given its simple parts and light-weighted body, you can handle it easily by yourself. The keys of this piano feels almost the same as a real piano, cause these keys are weighted. I like the different voice modes it gives, the sound is great, I think it is a great choice for people around this budget.

No support at all from Donner
I bought this piano for my granddaughter and it was perfect until 8 months later it stopped working & smelled like something burning. I tried everything possible to get Donner to help me get it diagnosed & repaired however be warned Donner has absolutely no after purchase support at all. Seriously, in the end they simply emailed me & stated they have no phone support or ability to send in for repair or any authorized service centers in the United States.I really love the piano but for me it was pricy and now there’s nothing I can do to get it repaired. How wrong is that for a big company like Donner. I’m truly bummed as is my granddaughter.Shameful.

Stopped working
The first time I got this piano, it stopped working after a few months. Customer service was really nice and replaced the piano but a year and a half later, the replacement now will not turn on. Such a disappointment!

Doesn't play 4 note chords well
We bought this to be a learner's piano for our 6 year old since we didn't have space in our house for a real piano and didn't want to spend a ton on a fancier digital piano. This one is okay for a beginner but that's about it. I used to play the piano myself, so I say down and started playing this when it arrived and was kinda disgusted with the fact that if you play more than 2 notes at a time, not all the notes in the chord sound or else they sound separately not as a full chord. Using the peddle hides this slightly but it is a bit annoying to a musically trained ear. Also, without changing the force/pressure with which you are striking the keys and without changing the volume, sometimes the keys will sound much louder than other times even when struck with the same force. For example, playing scales or arpeggios, you might be going up the scale olaying evenly and all of a sudden one random note will play much louder than all the other notes....this isn't just a user problem either, everyone who has played this digital piano at our house has noticed this problem including my sister who is a semi-professional pianist really was bothered by this. That all being said, my 6 year old loves it, practices it with gusto between her lessons, so it is great for what we got it for: a beginner's learning piano keyboard that doesn't take up much space.

Good for beginners
I was debating myself to take the 45 series or 10 series, but this definitely satisfied me. It has recorded option which i love it and preload tunes. This beginners piano is very useful for people who wants to get started with. The keys fee high quality as well.

Like a real piano
This electric piano feels like playing a real piano. The pressure of pressing the keys makes a difference in sound. It would be cool if there were more sound options (there are 5).

Klang
