Kids Craft Kits Sewing Crafs For kids-5 pcs Jungle Animals Hand Puppet kit

Creative and fun. First kids sew and assemble the puppets, then they put on mini puppet shows. Loved this for kids in grades 1 and 2 to make independently, but with adult help so they can make sure the sewers stay on track. With help, kindergarteners can sew these, but it takes some concentration and fine motor skills. The end result was adorable. Would be fun in the classroom as well as at home.

Do not buy. These were shipped directly from China and two of the five cellophane packages had black mold noted on the interior felts, so I didn't even open them. Because of this issues, I threw them all away as a potential health hazard. A waste of money. Definitely would not recommend.

Ordered the jungle animals sewing kit for my 4.5 year old son. We want him to be able to fix a tear or hem a pant as an adult. Kit comes with 2 pieces of stiff felt like material that have pre-punched holes to simplify the needle & thread moving through. It also has a large size plastic kids needle, a long piece of yarn, and stick on decorative pieces such as eyes. My son needed a bit of help but had a fun time. You can slide your hand inside this, but it isn't really flexible and isn't something he will play with as a puppet. I'm not sure how long the stick on pieces would stay on if used during play. It will likely end up in the trash (as more of an art project after we have displayed it for a while), but was definitely a fun project for the 2 of us and taught him some starter sewing skills. Please note that although I ordered jungle animals, I received a snowman, cat, deer, cow and bear, not jungle animals.

Was somewhat disappointed ...not much to this kit. Was going to use for gift but will just keep it to use with one of my own grandkids. Most of package description appears to be written in Chinese? Am a little skeptical of how well the pieces will stay fastened once decorated.

I ordered these for our Girl Scout troop to do in order to earn a sewing badge. They are 5 and 6 year olds so it needed to be something simple. With just a little help from me the girls were able to sew these together. They also had fun playing with the puppets. I'd say these were even better and cuter than I though they'd be.

They appear to be poor quality. There were 5 packs, 1 reindeer and 4 ducks. I guess I was wrong to assume I would receive 5 DIFFERENT puppets for my son to sew. I was excited about giving this to him for Christmas.... Until it arrived.

My 4 and 5 year old grandkids loved this! Only one problem: one of the five kits was missing a part. Bummer

Donated them to flood victims kids for Thanksgiving & Christmas.
