PepsodentComplete Care Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste Original Flavor - 6 oz, Pack of 6

Ten years ago, my dentist told me that to keep my teeth and gums in good shape, it didn't matter what toothpaste I used, as long as I flossed each day. Started buying this toothpaste at the local grocery store for 99 cents and flossed regularly. Teeth and gums still in great shape, per my dentist. He mentioned that the expensive toothpaste won't clean your teeth any better than Pepsodent. Had to start buying it online however, because my local supermarket quit stocking it--apparently they don't make much selling 99 cents toothpaste, preferring to push the $6.00 variety instead.

We are very fond of good old-fashioned Pepsodent -- still made in the USA - and available at our local Dollar Store for -- you guessed it -- $1 per tube. But at the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown our store had a Pepsodent shortage! Fortunately, Amazon sellers had a good supply and even though I paid closer to $2 per tube it was worth while to know that no matter what else we might run out of, we will definitely have enough toothpaste!!!

I love Pepsodent original, and I have no issue with the taste or quality of the product when I buy it at my local store. My issue with this order isn't even that the toothpaste was twice as much as in the stores. (It WAS more expensive, but I was willing to pay for it because right now I cannot find it anywhere in my local stores.) My ISSUE with this order is that while I just received the package of six tubes today (Monday, March 14, 2022), I see they were expired as of February 2022. I'm sure they don't go magically bad on a specific date, so I can certainly use them for a while--but a SIX-tube supply? Will it be effective?

You may “Wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent” but don’t wonder too long. Pepsodent is still here and available at proper, reasonable, almost 1950s prices. Great!

It’s toothpaste. What else can be said. A great and reliable product. Saves my family from going out in this time of plague.
