Safety, saved me from hiring an electrician & inadequate lighting to the bathroom at night.
Being handicapped and inadequate light paths in a house built in 1938, with not an adequate # of electric outlets, these motion detector gadgets light my way thru the house.

Illuminating Purchase: My Experience with the Cordless Battery-Powered LED Motion Sensor Lights
I recently purchased a pack of 6 of these Cordless Battery-Powered LED Motion Sensor Lights for my stairway leading to the second-floor bedrooms, and I must say, they have been a brilliant addition to my home. The warm white light emitted by these LED lights provides a cozy and comforting ambiance. They are motion-activated, which means they light up as soon as they sense movement, making the stairway safe and convenient to navigate, especially during the night. Installation was a breeze. The lights are cordless and the design is sleek, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the decor. I was able to set them up hassle-free, which was a definite plus. One aspect of the purchase that did take me by surprise was the requirement of batteries. Each light takes 3 AAA batteries, which are not included in the pack. This added to the overall cost of the product, making what initially seemed like a bargain a bit more expensive than anticipated. A closer reading of the description would have revealed this...oops. As for longevity, I have just installed them so I hope they will last a significant amount of time. Fingers crossed on that front. All in all, apart from the unexpected additional cost of batteries, I am pleased with this purchase. The LED motion sensor lights have made my stairway safer and more inviting. The warm, white light is just right, not too bright or too dim. I would recommend these lights to anyone looking to enhance their home's lighting in a practical and aesthetically pleasing way.

Great lights!
I've purchased a few sets of these over the last 3 years. First I used them in an old house with a steep staircase we used as a short term rental. Many guests mentioned the convenience of the lights on the stairs in their reviews. I've placed them on our stairs and in hallways since then. The sticky pads on the back work.. for a while. I've found it easier to just screw the plates into the wall with some tiny screws. For me, battery life is fine. They look nice and are a good value. I'm ordering another set to replace a few that just don't work anymore, after years of use I don't think that's a bad thing. They simply wear out and that's to be expected.

Meh
I purchased 3 packs of these lights (24 units total) to place in various dark spots around my home. It was a lengthy (and tiresome) operation to open them, install the 72 brand-new AAA batteries, close them up so the plate actually stayed put, and peel off the finicky sticker topping. (Tip: use tweezers.) I tested each and every one of them in a dark room. Each worked. Applied. Some of them worked. Some did not. I then detached the face plate of the ones that didn't work. Checked that the batteries were tightly positioned. Retested in a dark room. All were working. Reattached. Some worked. Some did not. The ones that DO work are temperamental. As much as I wave and flail about some do nothing. Others light up immediately with little to no movement. It's a lottery moment if one works when I need it. Many in the reviews (justifiably) complain about the pesky face plate. It was a master class in precision configuring its removal to install the batteries. Once I did a few I got the hang of it. Use a gentle touch. Same with removing the plate once it's secured to your surface. There's a science to it. When applying to your surface push tightly and hold for a few seconds. They do stick well. Some reviews mention the face plate falls off once applied to their surface of choice. This happened to me. The face plate was simply not fully secured. Play with it to secure. Gently. If you remove the entire unit, it does not take the paint off the wall. (At least in my experience.) BUT you cannot replace the unit once fully removed. The sticky tabs deteriorate so you'll need some new tabs or sticky tape to reapply. After jacking with these frustrating things for a few hours I'm comfortable saying they weren't worth my time or money. I run a busy household and the last thing I need is to constantly deal with these silly lights. There's a safety concern as well. I needed some of these for two sets of staircases. I can't depend on these for the safety of my family/guests. Lastly, I purchased the warm white version of these, and they are anything but a soft light. At night from the second floor, I can see the ones (that work) come on like a flash from downstairs. They wake me up they are so jarring and bright. It's like trying to sleep in a night club. For the time being I'm going to keep a few of these up (in closets mainly) and play wait and see. My Spidey senses are telling me that most of these will likely end up going to electronics recycling. I'll report back in a few weeks with my final review (including battery longevity.) *Update 5/8/24: I was wrong. These DO take the paint off walls and in a BIG way. There's no getting around it, they ruin walls. Just so you know. The lights I positioned in JUST the right way do work. I like having them in the basement and certain closets, but I chose to adhere to spaces that WERE NOT painted walls. We just spent the last two weeks repairing/repainting the damaged spots these caused. Will not repurchase. *Diary Entry 6/6/24: I despise these things. The battery life is a month if that. I had three in the unfinished part of my basement. We rarely activate these lights. Needed new batteries after 4 weeks. Don't buy these. Trust me.

They look great but after couple months 1 or 2 don't work anymore
They look great but after couple months 1 or 2 don't work anymore. Also the interval is short so if you use them for example in a closet, be ready to wiggle to turn them back on every once a while

Perfect, bright illumination!!
These lights light up a dark hallway extremely well. While walking down the hallway, it is inconsistent when the sensors pick up action and illuminate if they sense any light in a neighboring room. This is no way a complaint, generally they are very efficient. I hope I remember to edit this when it comes time to change the batteries, whether or not, it is with ease. Edit: 5/4/24 Unfortunately, batteries don’t last forever. The lights began to appear more and more dim. A few more than others. I initially dreaded this point because I was concerned that the sticky back would pull off the wall taking the paint with it. I replaced 18 batteries with ease. The lid slips right off, exposing the battery pack and easily reconnects. I continue to be very happy with this purchase.
