Super light & airy texture, and spreads like a dream! I have very sensitive, dry/combo skin that is prone to inflammation and clogged pores. I usually break out whenever I try something new, but this is one of the few products that didn't cause any adverse reaction. My cheeks didn't flare up either, which is more than I can say for most of the moisturizers I've tried in the past. Although the texture is really light (reminds me of a water cream), it's still moisturizing enough for my skin that I don't feel like I need to reapply during the spring/summer months (though I'll probably need something more substantial when it eventually gets colder). I will say that I do wish it came in a larger size; my first jar lasted about two and a half months with daily use, while my current jar will probably last me about 3 months. It's so inexpensive though compared to my previous moisturizers so I don't mind it that much. For those on the fence between this and the repair balm, I purchased both because I loved the barrier cream so much and found that the balm is much thicker and probably more suited to those with dry/very dry skin. It also has more of a matte finish which makes my skin appear almost dull compared to the subtle dewiness of this barrier cream (while the dewiness does eventually fade to a natural finish, almost like I didn't put anything on, the repair balm makes my skin look visibly matte). While the repair balm feels too heavy for me, it didn't make me break out or cause any inflammation (and I did like layering it over the barrier cream during the winter when I needed a bit more moisture in my drier spots). Another thing to note is that the repair balm jar is much smaller than the barrier cream (probably about half the size) but because I need so little of it due to the thicker texture, I think it would probably last me about the same amount of time with daily use (maybe about three months, twice that if I only used a bit of it where needed). Overall I think they're both really good moisturizers, especially for the price, but I much prefer the texture, dewiness, and lightweight nature of the barrier cream. Hope this helps! I temporarily stopped using this cream back in October last year because I needed something a little heavier for the dry weather. I switched to the nourishing cream from this same brand, and it's been perfect. It's thicker than the barrier cream but not nearly as heavy as the repair balm. The texture is creamier than the repair balm and has a very natural finish. It definitely feels heavier than the barrier cream but it's still lightweight and keeps my skin moisturized until I wash it off (maybe avoid the nourishing cream if you have quite oily skin though). No irritation whatsoever either. I will be going back to the barrier cream once the weather starts warming up though (still in love with the airy, cloud-like texture).

I absolutely love this moisturizer. It it a nice medium consistency, and it feels soft on the skin. I use it in between nights that I use retinol/retin A to soothe my skin and give it a break. It's so soft and silky, it absorbs quickly and makes my face feel great in the morning. I found it on my Yuka app as I was looking for healthy/non-toxic night creams/moisturizers and this one got 93/100 "Excellent" score. It shows it's WITHOUT parabens, WITHOUT UV Filters and all of the other harmful ingredients that cause allergies and endocrine disruption. I would think this cream is good for all skin types, I have combo skin, I'm 60 years old, and it works so well. So many of our beauty product have toxic ingredients now, and I have been clearing out my entire beauty, hair and hygiene products and finding healthy alternatives from this app. It's the best app I've found in a decade. I use it daily. Trust me, this product is lovely. I strongly recommend it!

Anyway, I thought I should make a 2nd attempt at my review on this product. Pros: ▪︎ It is suitable for sensitive skin. My skin is very sensitive. Using this product has not irritated or harm my skin in anyway. 👏🏾 ▪︎ It is hydrating and lightweight. ▪︎ No strong fragrance or unpleasant smell ▪︎ You don't need to apply much of it Cons: ▪︎ After using it for about 2 months, I am yet to notice any changes to the way my skin looks or feels. ▪︎ Compared to my go-to moisturiser (name withheld because they won't post my review), this product is not as rich in texture. All in all, I think it's a decent product for the price. I doubt it's what my melanin skin needs as it didn't do anything for my skin.

I'm honestly in complete shock. So for reference, I have SUPER oily skin, and often get lots of breakouts. I have open pores, blackheads, acne, the works. I had a really bad flare up and did some research and ultimately decided on trying this cream. Referencing the photo I attached, the left side was my skin before using this. The right side was my skin after using it for only TWO DAYS (morning and night). I used no other products besides my regular cleanser. I seriously don't know what kind of magic they put in this bottle, but needless to say I'm going to be a lifelong customer. I've tried dozens of other products from very reputable brands. I've spent so much time and money over 10 years trying to fix my problem skin. Seeing results like this actually makes me want to cry tears of joy. It feels like I've finally found a cure after so long. My skin isn't as oily during the day anymore, the redness is going away, and I feel confident again. It didn't sting at all, and honestly felt very soothing upon application. I actually have hope again that my skin won't always be this bad. I know it sounds dramatic, and I can't promise you the same results, but for me, this was life changing. If you're thinking about trying this and have a skin type similar to mine, DO IT!!

This cream delivers everything it says. It does build the moisture barrier for your skin. I have combo skin with large pores. I live in state with extreme weather condition, 95° F to -13° F. Here winter is a very dry, snowy, and cold. I tested this cream at the freeze temperature without any makeup. My skin feels comfortable outside at -2° F. Also, this cream works perfect under any makeup (cream or dry). I read some reviews for this product. Many people complained about eye irritation and burning. Please, read carefully the warning signs. You will see that this product is only for face not for eye area. When you put it on skin, it feels heavy but the cream absorbs into skin very fast without leaving greasy touch. This product did not give me any breakouts or discomfort because I use appropriate amount. Take a look my pics. This amount is enough to cover face, neck, and décolleté. One jar is last about 2-2.5 months with one time use per day. Unfortunately, my body does not take it. It is very personal feelings. You won’t be known it without try it. In spite of this, I think this is a very good quality product which works perfect as moisture barrier for any skin type.

Crema hidratante ligera apta para pieles sensibles y mixtas. Sé aplica fácilmente y su absorción es rápida. Para pieles sensibles es buena ya que no produce ni picor ni rojeces, y para pieles mixtas se absorbe bien, no deja la piel grasienta. En Yuka obtiene una nota de excelencia gracias a sus pocos pero buenos ingredientes. La recomiendo sin dudarlo y no le pongo cinco estrellas porque hace poco tiempo que la uso y desconozco los resultados a largo plazo.
