How do you remove it? It's stuck fast and I don't want to risk breaking the Index.

Dear customer, it is easy to install and remove. Is it stuck in something? If you have difficulties with removing it, please send a video to our customer service. We will give you a correct solution after we have a clear understanding of the situation.

Is this a 2 speed fan? Mine doesn't turn off when I push the button again..

This is not a 2 speed fan, it's an on/off switch, make sure that the cabling is correctly wired, alternatively just unplug it from the USB socket when you are not using it, it'll automatically turn off then!
