I really love this towel! I use it 4-5 days a week for hot yoga and it's held up well for *years*. It stays odor-free. It's large enough to cover the entire face in one wipe, and it's soft and cuddly and a pleasure to use. The color hasn't faded even with frequent washings; there are absolutely no pulls or fraying in the towel at all. It's so strong that sometimes I even use it in place of a strap. Can't go wrong with this one. Some reviewers have noted that it has an unpleasant texture like the microfiber cleaning towels, but I strongly disagree. I dust with microfiber towels and hate the way they stick to my skin. These Gaiam towels are smooth on my skin, with no sticky velcro-type feeling. They have a nice "hand."

Love this size - perfect gym towel for yoga, spin, or any workout. I have it in a few colors and they hold up well. Wipes the sweat, dries quickly, doesn’t hold smell. Love the Gaiam reliability and quality too. Great purchase :)

I use it to place on my Yoga matt where my face is going on the mat rather than a full towel which I find too slippery. It is so soft and waay better than my face on a rubber mat!

I use this for working out 6 days a week. Due to where I work I can’t clean it after every workout (military location). Pro: great size, really cleans up the sweat, and doesn’t stink if not cleaned every day. Con: It is hard to describe how “rough” it feels. I know other people have said the same thing, and I couldn’t agree more. Bottom Line: Great little towel, but it just feels “strange”—hence the 4 stars.

I love this towel! I have not taken a bikram class with it as I prefer non-heated yoga, but it does a great job keeping my hands from slipping. Right at the beginning when my hands were still very dry it slipped just a little bit, but that could have also had to do with my pretty low-quality mat or the fact that I didn't have the chance to wash it before using it. The purple is also a very pleasant, calming color and wonderfully absorbent. My arms and chest were sweating up a storm and all I had to do was pat them down and the towel took care of it. While I have not tried any other yoga-specific towels yet, this is definitely an upgrade from the bath towel I was using before and the price was right!

This is my first time buying an "official" YOGA towel. I have several basic gym towels around but they were starting to wear so I started to research sort specific towels. I purchased two different brands and this was one of them. I got to try it out today during a class; IT WORKS! I was sweating something terrible and with just a gentle wipe it wicked all the sweat away. There was no need to rub in the way you would with a regular terry towel. I am really pleased with the purchase so far. I will follow up after the wash if anything changes with the quality or how it absorbs. If no follow up then all is well.

I was mostly seduced into the purchase by the color because I will pretty much buy anything that is purple. But, I really love the towel. It's the perfect size to take along to yoga class. It is soft and absorbent. In addition to being great for moping the sweating brow, it serves as convenient extra padding on a sore knee or elbow, when needed. I love it!

This mat is perfect to begin my hot yoga routine! No slipping!
