I am so happy with this purchase
I am so happy with this purchase! Originally ordered in the pewter gray and I loved it but I decided I really wanted the camel. I'm picky about the color camel. Once I saw the quality in the gray pewter, I knew the camel would be exactly what I wanted because the pewter gray was exactly as pictured. I returned the first purchase with no problem, received a prompt credit and ordered my camel. Received my new order as promised and I am not disappointed. I own several cashmere sweaters. Cashmere, just like any other fiber, can pill if not taken care of. I have worn my robe every evening and while I don't schlep or lounge under a blanket on the couch in it, I have not found it to stretch or pill. My own opinion based on what my experience is with cashmere is this is a great addition to my list of luxury purchases. Warm, super soft. I will wear it and take care of it like I do all my fine fabric garments. I'm 5'10. 145lbs. Ordered the Lg/xLg. Fits loose but not frumpy. Just the way I wanted it. Love it!

Could use more size options--but a nice product.
There are only two sizes: small/medium and large/XL. I KNEW what I really wanted was medium/large, but it wasn't a choice. Which meant I had to gamble and choose between the two options. I chose small/medium and I chose wrong. It was a gift for my wife and it was too small. It was comfy, but the sleeves crept up and didn't cover her wrists. I had to return/exchange it.Luckily they were really good about exchanges and we got the large/XL size. It is a bit baggy. I wish they had a middle size-- like a medium/large-- but this will have to do.My wife really likes it despite it being a bit baggy. It is very soft, warm, and comfy. I would recommend especially if you are not right in the middle size-wise like my wife.

i'm happy with this
this is cashmere warm, but it's not for the middle of winter warm, i live in new hampshire and we heat with wood so it's not for cold mornings, but i use it a good deal of the time as it is cashmere, which i love. i'm considered a fiberholic and this passes the grade.it is very well made and should last quite awhile if you take care of it. i wash all my good clothes myself, in cold, on delicate and than hang it on a wooden rack til dry. put in dryer with a dryer sheet for just a few minutes. it will pill a bit with use, i washed it after 4 months of use and then spent about 20 minutes just hand pulling the pills off, good as new and worth the time, took it with me to LA in January and it was perfect for the 45 degree nights. i am a medium (10/12 )but i like things big and roomy, can really wrap this around me with the large/xlargethankyou

Lovely warm, stylish robe
Lovely quality cashmere and nicely tailored, this is my third cashmere robe and the best so far. It is a good length and has binding on the shawl collar to give a more expensive look. Compared with my last robe which was a Magaschoni and more expensive , this one is a thicker ply and much warmer. Have only just received it so can't comment on how it will wear in terms of pilling but I suspect that like all my cashmere pieces I will probably have to use a wool comb on it from time to time. I think this is just a feature of cashmere and don't know if the really expensive options also pill especially under the arms. My only complaint is that although the Small/Medium fits well everywhere else, it is rather large in the shoulders. By the way, I purchased the Charcoal grey and am very pleased with the colour.

Color is not charcoal
I ordered Charcoal, and the color was closer to a faded black. With a dog that sheds a lot it would be a disaster. It is going back, and I will get the faded pewter instead. I was expecting it to be softer, but it’s soft enough for a woven cashmere. I’m hoping it won’t be as attractive to the moths as two previous knit robes I have had.

Generously sized, very soft and warm
This robe is as soft to the skin as you'd expect cashmere to be--even worn with nothing else under it. It's generously sized, and people who are of average or lower height might have to take up the hem--I'm 5'8" and it's down to my ankles. It feels very luxurious and it's perfect for wrapping up on a winter's night or going down for that first cup of coffee on a cold morning.

Initially disappointed, but much happier after vendor exchange.
Fabric and color are as expected, but the tailoring leaves a lot to be desired. Seams are lumpy and the fit and shape just isn't very appealing.Update 2/18/2014: Cashmere Boutique came thru for me. They let me exchange the Charcoal color for Sage Green, which I really like. And the tailoring on the women's robe is actually pretty nice. For some reason the men's robe seams and patch pockets seemed lumpy, but the women's robe seams and hidden pockets are nice.Review saved - thanks Cashmere Boutique for the exchange.
