I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. It’s really well made, is attractive, holds a lot of water, doesn’t leak when it’s locked, and it’s easy to clean. I just rinse out the tank every once in a while and use baby bottle tablets which I bought here on amazon for super cheap. This bowl is worth every penny. It’s so nice not needing to refill a bowl constantly, and knowing it’s refilling with clean water just feels so much more sanitary. We still need to clean the bowl itself of course, but it’s so easy to do and way less gross than a traditional bowl. When I received my package the cap was missing. I contacted Torus’s customer service on their website and they immediately got back to me and sent me a cap. I had it in a couple of days. It’s so refreshing to see a company be so responsive and helpful. Thank you so much Torus, for this amazing product and for having stellar customer service. You’ve made me and my dog very happy!

A little big for cat use. But love it. Keeps clean water available for up to two weeks. One nice thing is that the water does stay relatively cool, even in direct sunlight. Well made, strong plastic. I'd definitely get another if needed.

My pets have been using Torus bowls for about 8 months. I bought a second one soon after the first when my cat kept going out of his way to use this bowl (which was the dogs') instead of his own. I have a 3rd which I like to keep in the car, as it is a perfect travel/car ride no spill bowl! I have tried other low flow bowls in the past, but this has been my favorite, specifically because it is so easy to clean, and it is easy to fill and transport to the designated spot because of the "lock" mode which closes the water flow until you can set it down and turn the dial. It keeps the water fresh and clean, and cool in the reservoir. It holds quite a bit so I don't feel like I'm constantly refilling it. The replaceable filters that are available for purchase are easy to use with no mess. Most importantly, my 2 dogs and cat really enjoy drinking out of these and therefore keep themselves well hydrated while not spilling water everywhere. I highly recommend this bowl!

I bought this after finding that my dog (or possibly the cat) was playing with his plain stainless steel rimmed water bowl-- I think they were batting/nosing the rim until most of the water sloshed out. I wanted something that couldn't be tipped over, not just a bowl with an "anti skid" rubber bottom. That was really my only requirement, so the price of the Torus was hard to justify, especially with the added expense of buying replacement filters. But I didn't see much else on Amazon and after reading the positive reviews here, I decided to go for it. I'm glad I did: the shape and the stored water keeps it heavy enough that it doesn't slide or, most importantly, tip, so no more giant wet spots on the carpet. The design is stylish and functional and has cut down on my frequent trips to refill the water bowl. The pets like it and I do, too! A couple concerns: One, when I first touched the included filter, something clear and greasy-feeling rubbed off on my fingers. Since then, I've rinsed/refilled the Torus several times, and when I look at the water sitting in the basin later, there is a slight oily film floating on top. I hope this is some kind of food-grade lubricant and no big deal, but I admit to being a bit uncomfortable. (I did watch my sensitive dog closely for any signs of stomach upset and he has been perfectly fine.) Secondly, like some other reviewers, I'm concerned about bacteria or mineral build-up inside the unit. Hopefully the filter and the self-refilling design plus regular cleaning will prevent this problem, but since the bowl doesn't come apart, there is no way to really clean the inside. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll never see that pink goo (bacteria) that forms in humidifiers (also a plastic refillable product). It would be great if there was a similar product using stainless steel for the interior!

I needed a new water bowl for my bully who has a very huge tongue, I believed he spilled more of his water than he actually consumed. I came across this bowl on IG and thought I would look it up to see if it would do the trick. Read a couple of reviews about mold issues which almost stopped me from buying this bowl. But I thought about it and was like well when I don’t use my Nespresso machine for a while I do need to change the water due to slime so I’m just going to assume these people that had mold problems are not cleaning these water bowls before every refill. So I bought it and I am very pleased that I did!!! When I tell you there is no more swimming pool of water I mean it. Best water bowl ever! I bought this bowl in March, I clean it after before every refill and took it apart twice to deep clean the inside. I have not notice any mold just a bit of slime as expected. I grab q tips to clean the faucet just to be safe. I have nothing but pros about this product and if I had a con I guess I would say the filter is not the greatest but I don’t really care since I have a zero water pitcher for him. JUST CLEAN YOU FUR BABIES BOWL AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE MOLD.

Meh, Jury is out on this. I got it because my 3 cats and 2 smaller dogs were using a large stainless steel bowl and it was getting really dirty because 1 of my cats likes to dip her paw in the water and drink it that way. I thought this might be a solution. I dont hate it, they dont seem to hate it, its easy to clean. The 5 of them go through the entire container of water in about 48 hrs, so if you have a big dog or multiple pets, might want to get a bigger one. Not sure the filter helps much as I have clear well water, but probably good for people on city water or poor well water. I guess it looks fancier than it really is :)

I love this bowl. Please make sure you wash it out as it will get a stain around it if you don’t, and it’s bad for your dog if you just keep refilling it. I have bought another one and it’s really great

This is a great bowl. It does everything the description (and answered questions) say it does. It also fools my water-glutten dog into thinking he's drank all his water (he will drink five gallons if you set it before him -- and no, he is not diabetic) when he's really only had a reasonable amount. While he walks away, it refills itself and then patiently waits for him to find it again. By storing the unused water in the ring around the bowl, it both insulates AND makes the bowl bottom heavy. When I set it down, it doesn't move, even though my 70 lb dog tends to push his food bowl (with gripper feet) all over the place. The knob on top works perfectly, keeping water out of the bowl for moving around (or traveling), and only letting it into the bowl when you tell it to do so. Also, because it only puts a cup or so of water into the bottom of the bowl at a time, the water doesn't splash out and all over the place. Is it expense? Yes. But if this is what you need, it's definitely worth it.

Tengo que decir que finalmente este tipo de cuenco para agua me ha servido para que mis gatos beban más agua, pero sólo lo han aceptado finalmente en color azul claro, los oscuros lo rechazaban, debían pensar que el agua estaba sucia; pero eso es un problema de mis gatos que son muy tiquismiquis. El resultado es parecido al que hubiera conseguido con una fuente para gatos, pero este no tiene motor, por lo que es una ventaja. Lleno, es muy pesado y no es fácil que me tiren el agua, como hacen mis animales con otros cuencos o depósitos. Si se utiliza agua mineral real, no es necesario poner el filtro, con lo que es un ahorro. El interior se puede limpiar muy fácil con pastillas esterilizadoras para biberones Milton, de ese modo siempre está en buen resultado higiénico. Como desventajas, estas dos: No es apto para lavar en lavavajillas, siempre tiene que ser a mano. Y el precio, que está cada vez más caro desde la primera vez que lo vi. Pero en conclusión, lo recomiendo para gatos en colores claros, nunca oscuros.

Stolzer Anschaffungspreis - keine Frage. Dafür aber zahlreiche Vorteile: es steht nur wenig Wasser im Napf, wenn der Hund trinkt, läuft frisches Wasser nach. In allen üblichen Wassernäpfen mit 1 oder 2 Liter Füllmenge ist der ganze Napfinhalt schon nach kurzer Zeit verschleimt, verspuckt und verunreinigt von Haaren und Schwebeteilen in der Luft. Hier steht nur eine geringe Wassermenge bereit, diese ist schnell ausgetrunken, es läuft klares Wasser nach. Den guten Effekt bestätigen unsere Hunde und Katzen, die das Frischwasser aus dem Torus gerne und vermehrt trinken. Die teuren Ersatzfilter ( gut 4 pro Euro pro Stück, und das alle 4 Wochen) muss man nicht kaufen: das Plastikgehäuse der Filterpatrone ist so konstruiert, dass sich der Filterdeckel durch leichten Druck auf die beiden quadratischen Aussparungen an den Seiten abnehmen lässt. Aktivkohle-Pellets bekommt man als Aquarien-Zubehör im Kilo für kleines Geld. Die passende Pelletgrösse von 3-4mm ist handelsüblich. Deckel wieder einklipsen , den so befüllten Filter vor dem Einsetzen kurz abspülen um den Kohlestaub zu entfernen. So reduzieren sich die Ersatzfilterkosten auf einen Betrag von wenigen Cent. Dass der Torus auch als Reisenapf sehr gut taugt, haben schon viele Nutzer festgestellt. Auch eine gelegentliche gründliche Reinigung des Napf-Inneren ist kein Hexenwerk. Es werden reichlich flüssige Reinigungsmittel für Mundduschen etc. angeboten, die hervorragend geeignet sind, um einen etwaigen inneren Biofilm zu entfernen, gründliches Nachspülen natürlich inbegriffen. Der Torus ist ein rundum gelungenes Produkt, das gleich mehrere der bekannten Wassernapf-Probleme löst. Auch die ewigen Schlabber-Pfützen im Umkreis sind verschwunden, niemand riskiert auszurutschen. Die bei einigen Hunden beliebten Fußbäder im Wassernapf sind kaum noch attraktiv in Anbetracht der zur Verfügung stehenden Mini-Pfütze. Planschen kann Hund auch anderswo, es muss ja nicht grade im Wassernapf sein.

Muy sencillo de rellenar, sin motor e incluso (si el agua está bien filtrada) se puede usar sin filtro. Lo he probado con otros bebederos al lado y tanto mi perra como mis gatas prefieren éste. La mejor manera de que siempre beban agua fresca.
