This product worked drive it all the way in with an impact and then tap the end of it side to side up and down with a hammer. Eventually, it will pop out. Good luck.

Cheap soft steel
Bent first use, not hard enough steel for what the tool is designed to do. Use caution will mess up threads in end of crankshaft as it bends.
