Would this be suitable to use outdoors on a childrens playset for traction on ladder rungs and not scratch hands?

Hi Lindsey, This product has a pretty rough surface. I liken it to 80 or 120 grit sandpaper. It would provide good traction, but might be rough on hands in a dry situation like you suggest. (It felt fine on our feet in the shower, although it didn't stick like it was supposed to).

I'm needing something on wooden stairs -sealed and finished wood - to sleeping loft to keep grandsons from falling. Good for this??

This tape works really well on a shower base that was super slick when wet...I am pretty sure it will work on stairs...has good traction.

Are the strips removable without the use of sharp tools? Is a residue left behind?

You don't need a sharp tool to remove them. Once you are able to life a corner with something like your fingernail, the strips come off without any residue.

I have a walk in Roman shower with smooth small tiles with grout. Will these stick and work?
