LavanilaVanilla + Fire The Healthy Deodorant, 2.0 oz

Love the smell..soft and sweet

This is my favorite Lavanila scent! I have been using Lavanila deodorant on and off for years, but not every scent works for me. The one I've had the best luck with is the plain Pure Vanilla, but, frankly, the aroma of vanilla can be tricky in Arizona armpits. Lavanila deodorants have a very strong aroma, which is probably one of the reasons they are effective. Since deodorants do not inhibit sweating, you have to hope their fragrance keeps the sweat from smelling bad. Sometimes the odor of deodorant mixed with sweat can be worse than the smell of sweat alone (as happens with, unfortunately, Vanilla Grapefruit and Vanilla Coconut. My husband asked me never to use either again). If you are familiar with Lavanila deodorants you know that some of the formulas are creamy (Pure Vanilla, Vanilla Lavender, Vanilla Blackberry), and others are more gel-like, and transmit a cooling feeling upon application (Sport Luxe). Vanilla + Earth has the gel-like "cooling" feeling of Sport Luxe, and I love it. Vanilla + Earth smells of vanilla and patchouli, but it's lightweight and subtle. Don't let the "patchouli" scare you...this is a fluffy, almost-minty patchouli. The "vanilla" in this particular formula is very different from the caramelized Pure Vanilla. Vanilla + Earth is cool and effervescent, and it's glorious on hot days. This gets me through my yoga and ballet classes smelling fresh and clean all day long. Too bad Lavanila doesn't make this scent in perfume.

For some time now I've been looking for a natural deodorant product that was free of chemical nasties and potentially harmful pore-blocking aluminium salts, but still actually WORKED! At last, in this product, I've found what I've been looking for. The stick-style delivery system is easy to use and the product itself is quite quick to dry. It has a pleasant smell, and its deodorising effect is long-lasting, even under the pressure of exercise and cramped Tube rides! Of course, it is a deodorant, and not an antiperspirant, which means if you're specifically looking for something to keep you dry, keep looking. But if you're looking for something that helps you feel and smell fresh, whilst allowing your pores to breathe, letting your body to detox naturally and minimising your toxic load, this could be for you.

This is the first natural deodorant that actually lasts through exercise and lasts all day! It does not irritate my skin. I also love the scent!
