100pcs Thread Spool Savers/Spool Huggers - Prevent Thread Tails from Unwinding for Sewing and Embroidery Machine Thread Spools

They work great on my small spools go embroidery thread, though they feel like they won’t curl up quite as tight as they were to start with after using them, so I’m not sure how effective they’ll be in the future or for bigger spools. There also isn’t an even number of colors. I got 17 blues and oranges, 35 pinks, 31 greens, though I wish there was an even 25 each color.

Bought them for intended use, but 100 of them??? Use them to hold coiled cables and hose for work.Would love a larger version!!!

This is a fantastic idea, I immediately put these to use to untangle my spools of thread & with so many I was even able to color code sections of thread types.i.e. Embroidery, All purpose, Metalic,Button & craft

I received these as a Christmas gift. I received a smaller package a couple years ago and requested more. I use them on my embroidery thread to keep them from tangling. Highly recommend.

I think these hold the thread just fine. However, when you have a lot of spools, the bright colors may not be an asset. I think I would prefer to have clear so I can focus on the color of the thread on the spool, not the spool holder. I try to keep my colors organized but the bright color rubber detracts from the thread on the spools. I try to keep all my colors together. Greens, blues, browns, yellows, etc. But what seems to stick out is the color on the rubber.

I am a major quilter with MANY spools of thread. One can get a tangled mess if threads are not properly stored. When I go on retreats and take many spools of thread for my projects it is always nice to know that everything will be okay. Few years back I planned and ran a retreat and this is one of the gifts that I gave to the ladies. They thought this one one of the best inventions. Buying on Amazon was such a great buy. If you purchase them in quilting shops the price is doubled.

Gutermann thread, an excellent product, comes wound in a spool I do not like. I find it difficult to locate the end. This little annoyance has been eliminated by the Spool Huggers. Also, the notch in the plastic spool of other brands seems to shred the end of the thread. Why do things the hard way? Now I don't have to because I am using all three of the Fbshicung spool products: the Spool Saver to hold the end of the thread, the Bobbin Holders to keep the bobbin with the thread and the Bobbin Clamps to keep THEM from unwinding.
