Please specify size** A: this product is 30"X36" **Q: Weight capacity** A: Extrasorbs is a great bed pad there’s different weight capacities though the ones I buy for my daughter have a weight capacity of 2-3 hundred pounds depending on which ones I get , though my daughter is no where near that weight **Q: How much fluid will they hold?** A: an educated guess will be 8-12 Ounces. Hope this helps **Q: It is really important to me that they don't shred and tear when wet. What is your experience with this?** A: I use these for my Dad. He moves around a lot in bed which results in the underpads tearing/filling breaking apart - even when dry. I have tried MANY different pads & find the air pads are better (but more expensive) than regular ones. I had thought these would be the best since they are rated for bariatric use - however, I still sometimes have this problem - but...these are still one of the better ones + they are cheaper. Another issue to consider is that air underpads lack a waterproof backing - so although they are drier on top, the wetness is pulled down and the bed sheet is a bit damp - yuck! I find it necessary to use a β€œliner” of some kind underneath any air underpad. I use a cheap regular underpad - though presently, I bought some rubberized flannel sheeting ($7/yard) from Joann’s and am seeing if it works. I am always looking for a better combo. A bit pricey. Does everything as advertised. Extremely strong, much more absorbent then product sold at large pharmacy chain stores and seems to be more comfortable to lie on than other less expensive products.
