Good regulator.
Good regulator. I wanted to add back purge for stainless welds and this works perfectly. Quality , fit , and flow metering are as good as my other name brand ones.

Almost garbageโฆdoes function but leaks.
EVERY single place it can leak it does. After I inadvertently left the tank valve on it emptied a nearly full argon tank. I checked it with soapy water and bubbles everywhere. Disassembled and used loctite red on everything and โthoughtโ it would be ok. Itโs better but still leaks and once again I forgot to shut the tank off and it emptied another tank. $86 worth or argon gone. Should have bought a better regulator.

Works with no leaks
The CGA 580 gland should actually be at least an inch or two longer. Gas hoses press against side of gas bottle and make connecting difficult. Otherwise works fine as advertised.

Some folks had problems with leaks... I was not one of them.
Great bang for the buck. Attached to my 100% argon tank so I could have a feed to my welder AND a separate line for back purging. Combination of 1/4" ID nipple or the usual 5/8 UNF - 18 flare fitting for a gas hose was quite useful, as I needed one of each. Pretty easy to get a stable, accurate flow reading from the adjusting knob. Lots of comments about leaks, but if you buy it with free returns, then why not take a chance and see if it works for your application, and you can just send it back if not?

It works butโฆ
It works like it should but the nut that threads into the bottle started leaking after a few bottle changes. I wrapped it with teflon tape. It works but you should never have to teflon brass on brass.

No problems for me!
Works as described right out the box. No leaks for me. Now I can back purge and weld with the same Argon bottle.

I TRIED IT AND LOST OUT, A BAD CHOICE
Pure junk, just a waste of time. When first put into use and used for a couple days and then i noticed that the fresh 280 of bottle had completely emptied the entire bottle. Swapped out with another bottle and found that the back side of the internal coil of the pressure gauge and to top it off i broke off the connector nut. This unit looks great but is truly a waste of time, money, effort and your expensive welding gases. NO, I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO ANYONE. BUT A DIFFERENT UNIT.SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE ANGER.

700 psi out of the box
I totally do not recommend this item. Gives 700psi while it is still on the box. I tried it 2 on my bottle but still wrong gauge reading. Waste of time and money.
