Sturdy and easy to use
This works well for outside our front door of a retail business. The heavy base keeps it in one spot and doesn’t get knocked over. Most importantly doesn’t need sand or water in it so it’s easy to clean.Just with the top was also metal since people like to put out their cigs on the top and it has burn marks on it now. But overall would definitely recommend

All metal construction except for the topper. I am not worried about fire.
After we purchase one of these for my work, I had to have one for my house. The craftsmanship of this product is fantastic. I was concerned about emptying it as the base does not open and you have to empty it through the hole that the tube connects to. The nice thing about the seemingly inconvenient feature is that there are no seams that will allow oxygen to enter the canister hence denying burning cigarette butts oxygen. I keep this one on my patio. I may buy another one for the front porch. I think that the negative reviews on this product are flukes. I rarely leave reviews and the fact that I am leaving a review on a cigarette disposal contraption speaks volumes. I am very happy with this product.

Heavy Duty
I was impressed at the quality. It has some weight and the neck part is metal. A lot of the other ones I was looking at had complaints that the neck was plastic. The color looks great too.

Trouble with plastic top but Great customer service !
Having trouble putting the top on???I had a little trouble getting the plastic top on the metal base. It began to crack a tiny bit so I stopped and contacted customer service. I got a replacement top in only two days. It’s cold where I live so I left the metal base outside (to contract) and heated the plastic top with a hairdryer (to expand and soften a bit) then I quickly put a towel over the plastic top to protect against the rubber mallet as I tapped it on. It went on effortlessly.The customer service was great!

Perfect, serves exact function expected
It's weird to mark "love it" on a cigarette butt can, but this really is great quality. It's held up well, easy to clean out, and it's all metal so I'm not worried about fires starting... which was a BIG concern while picking one out. We've had this in use for about 8 months, and no issues! IT was very simple to put together as well. Anyone could do it.
