Will this work on a bike helmet?

It might work with some modifications but most likely I would say no. But I do love it on my hard hat at work. Stays on very well and keeps sun off my ears and neck well

The Sunbrero will not work on traditional aerodynamic bike helmets. It will only work on the newer helmets that look like a rock climbers helmet. Can this item be painted yellow

The Sunbrero is made of durable, high density closed cell foam. What makes it waterproof and mold resistant is it's non-penetrable surface. This also makes it impossible to paint as the surface will not allow penetration of the paint or (ink). We do not recommend painting the Sunbrero. Doug Sunbrero
