The price this seller is asking is significantly more expensive! You can buy two of these at Walmart for the same price this seller is selling one for! **Q: How many yards per skein?** A: There are 590 yards per skein. Hope this helps. **Q: How thick is the yarn, it does not say in the list?** A: Just bought at walmart. My yarn label says 5 oz/142 g 81 yards size 6 bulky and it cost around 3.50 **Q: how long is each color section before it switches to the next color?** A: That's hard to answer because each color may be slightly longer or shorter then thr next. I can say its not like variegated where the colors change every so many inches, these are long color lengths before they change to a new color. There are approximately 7 colors sets in each cake, so divide that by the total length of 590 yards and it will give you a very rough idea of each color. It's also flexible I've used needle/hook sizes from 4mm to 6mm to achieve different looks.Sometimes I do find a knot join in a ball, this I nothing unusual in my experience (I've found knot joins even in 25g and 50g balls) and is easily dealt with anyway I just remove the knot and attach the yarn as I would for a colour or ball change.All in all good value, lovely to work with, great colours I plan to be using a lot of this yarn :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delightful to work with but Beware! *by M***H on 14 January 2018* Lovely soft wool, great colourways. I am using a 3.5mm hook not the 5mm as suggested by the ball band. 5 felt way to big and the work too loose.I bought the original 2 balls in January and loved the wool but in September I bought one futher ball using 'buy again'. This wool is hard and does not have the same soft drape. It does not feel the same at all. I would not have bought this again. I'm very disappointed.Was this a substitute supplier?
