My hair has always been silky soft and smooth with some body. A little before I turned 50, (Ladies- IYKYK) it was still soft but was frizzy and no longer smooth. Every night after washing my hair I apply just a dime sized amount of the product into my hair from where it begins to hang down to the tips. I would not apply to scalp.
