This Is a well-made sturdy product. However the supplied ball has a diameter slightly larger than the UK/European versions. It will not fit into any of my Ifor Williams couplings. So it has been necessary to order a replacement bolt through ball. I would not have purchased this item had I had noticed the review comments. Additional expense. The ball may fit older more worn couplings.

Heavy duty and totally functional, good finish and does just what I wanted. Great value, some on offer where up to four times the price!

This is some strong bit of kit, really heavy and a bargain at the price, well happy with it.

This worked great and is very good value but be aware that the 2" ball that it comes with may not fit European 50mm hitches. It is only 1mm bigger but it can make a difference. My older trailers fitted, but a new trailer that appeared to fit in fact didn't as the hitch would not lock on (very dangerous). I recommend replacing the tow ball with a European 50mm one with a 25mm shank/bolt. Discount Towing Supplies did one at the time I wrote this review. If you are making your own tow bar with it as I did then it will not be legal for use on UK roads as tow bars need to meet test standards and your insurance may be voided. Only use it for off road. This is a large unit for a 2" receiver tube more for trucks/bigger vehicles. An easier one to use would be the 1-1/4" receiver tube version designed for cars if wanting one for a quad bike or similar vehicle.
