Great Shoulder Brace - WORKS!
I have severe arthritis and large bone spurs on my right shoulder, and though I work out intensely (boxing and dance flow) 5 days a week, I originally thought the pain was from injuryโnot realizing it was just my body reacting. I bought this shoulder brace (and another to compare), and this one quickly became my favorite. Itโs low-profile enough to wear under clothesโunless you use the ice pack, which adds some bulk. For me, the best fit is with the strap worn under the bust, not above, to avoid underarm discomfort. That seems to vary by body type, but it's not a dealbreaker. I use this brace during workouts, paired with my compression sleeves, and it's been a total game changer. My pain used to be an 11 out of 10โespecially at night when it throbbed at an 8. With the shoulder brace and sleeves, Iโm down to nearly pain-free, even while training. I wear THX sleeves during the day (tighter fit) and Incrediwear sleeves while working out (less tight, more mobility), and I take them off at night since wearing either overnight caused some hand swelling. Still, I stay mostly pain-free overnight thanks to daytime shoulder brace support. I plan to buy two more shoulder bracesโtwo for daily wear under clothing (Im going to see if I can wear on both shoulders same time) and one just for workouts. Cons: The ice/hot pack is awkward, sticks out, moves around, doesnโt stay in place well, and really only works if youโre sitting still. I also wish the arm portion extended further down the bicep for added supportโbut thatโs just preference. Overall: This brace offers great value, solid support, and real relief. Highly recommend!

Poor fit
Very hard to put on. Seems to be larger than advertised. Doesnโt provide much support.

Size L/XL for a solid size large, man
I purchased this for my husband because he was diagnosed with a partial tear on the back of his rotator cuff. After a few weeks of trying to alleviate the pain with pillows, heat and ice, as well at OTC Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs -after- he went through his prescribed steroids, nothing else has worked to alleviate the pain. It got so bad that he has an MRI appointment set up. I had to try to find something for him in the meantime because he's been so miserable. I purchased this Neoprene Shoulder Compression Sleeve Wrap by Zenkeyz on the 19th because I liked the idea of how adjustable it appeared. Also, because you can put a small hot or cold pack between the layers. It arrived quickly, on the 21st. The chest strap appeared to be on backwards with the velcro on the inside. But that was easily remedied by flipping it over like a belt. My husband promptly put it on with a little help from myself at first (to adjust the velcro at the arm,) and started to get relief within a few short hours. When he took it off later that afternoon, the pain started to set back in. He immediately put it back on. It really is supporting his shoulder by lifting his arm up. It holds his shoulder blade back into the proper position because his shoulder is being held close to his body - as it should be. The strap is preventing his arm from 'dropping' due to gravity. He's been wearing it religiously since. He only takes it off right at bedtime. When he wakes the next morning, it's the 1st thing he puts on. For reference he's 6' 1" and 180#. Three days later now, and he's already showing signs of healing. He's able to move his arm up carefully to put his hair into a ponytail without much pain. And he's much-much happier for it. We attribute this to the brace! He mentioned that the brace appears to be designed so that when he wants to unconsciously move his arm in a way that would ordinarily be painful, the brace has enough tension to it that he's 'reminded' to take it easy - but the brace doesn't actually constrict his movement. In short, the brace is supportive without being cumbersome, restricting or stiff. On that note, he wears the brace against his skin all day without chafing or discomfort under his button down dress shirts. I'll add that it's hardly noticeable under his cloths. We're still keeping the MRI appointment, but this brace has been a god-send until then.

Not true to size
I was so disappointed with this product! I'm suffering with either bicep tendinitis or rotator cuff tendinitis; not sure. I did measure myself according to the chart; it said I needed a large, but it was so big that neither I nor my physical therapist could tighten it enough to allow it to properly support my shoulder. Definitely buy a size down, and you will need someone else to help you put this on. I don't think it's possible to put this on alone. The Velcro straps are not user-friendly, especially for someone with an injured shoulder. I'm already having trouble reaching behind my back, and it was nearly impossible to get this thing on.

Nope, could have delayed treatment and surgery for a displaced cervical spinal injury.
This brace is almost perfect. If my right shoulder had been hurt, it would be perfect, but it is my left ๐. The brace is comfortable, provides good compression, and just the right amount of motion restriction to remind you not to move that way. If the arm adjustment was one small strap with Velcro on both sides, then adjustments for the left shoulder would be easier as the tab would be in the front. That said, I have had it for two weeks and the shoulder feels much better than it had for the previous two months. I may even be able to avoid surgery ๐UPDATE 2025- NOPE, Don't rely on this, please. Had ACDF, Cervical 3-4. Spouse who is advanced practice RN got me to a great Neurosurgeon, had testing, booked surgery, and a stretch limo to Dallas and home ( 50 miles each way plus driver's origination charge). Never have had a second's complication. DO NOT WASTE TIME WHEN THERE IS NECK AND SHOULDER PAIN. I FORGOT TO SAY MUCH ABOUT THE NECK INITIALLY, probably " de Nile". :)

Pros and Cons - But good quality
After reading the mixed reviews I was hesitant to try this but decided to give it a go. I now understand the mixed reviews. I feel there are 3 different types of people who would purchase this. 1) If you are someone who, when standing still (with no brace on) feels pain and you are looking for pain relief, then I don't think the brace is for you, at least not on its own, as it is simply a soft sided brace that doesn't offer much in the way of pain relief, but if you use it in conjunction with the ice/heat pad then it might help with pain. 2) If you are someone looking for a product to firmly stabilize your arm and keep it from moving then I think you would be better suited with a hard/solid brace, as this one allows for flexibility of motion. 3) If you are someone like me who has pain when moving the shoulder in certain positions and you are looking for the brace to be a deterent or reminder not to move the arm in that way, then this is for you. It really seems to depend what you want it for. My personal pros: Cost, Material is good quality, velcro straps hold tightly. Having the adjustable strap around the bicep is an awesome feature. Cons: As a female it is a little awkward to find a good fit around the breast area. Putting the strap in the position they have it pictured in the photo it tends to ride up and loosen. I find it easier to strap it lower with the strap resting between the breasts. It's a little more awkward but the fit is better. And living in Florida I find it very hot to wear but that isn't a negative to the product itself. Neutral: odor. many people complained about the odor. There was a slight "rubbery" odor when first taken out of the package but it went away within a few hours, even without washing it. All and all I am happy with it.
