Electrolux Frigidaire Professional FPBS2777RF 27.8 Cu.Ft. Stainless French Door Refrigerator

We went all in when we purchased this fridge. We too were plagued with serious ice maker issues. Had we not purchased it from a reputable store I'm afraid this would have been a horrible purchase. They ended up swapping our entire unit out after replacing several trips worth of parts. Still not perfect but I'm done dealing with it. Love it, otherwise.

I have a side by side model FFSS2615TS5. Delivered Aug. 25th, 2020. It is in the garage and the water dispenser and ice maker get very little use. Water dispenser used only 3-4 times, ice maker has made two (2) batches of ice. Water flow is diminishing from the dispenser. Water pressure at the source is 65 PSI. I and too many others have complained to Electrolux/Frigidaire about the same problem. Substandard water filters. After numerous emails to the "[email protected]" they want to send out a technician to diagnose the problem. It's a failed water filter. I suspect that the filtering material breaks down rapidly and clogs the out flow.The filters for this model art $40+ for one. My Samsung in the Kitchen only needs replacing about every 12-14 months and only costs $40 for two.Electrolux/Frigidaire does not seem to care about their customers. This is evident by the many, many complaints about the water filter. They leak, causing flooding and floor damage, they clog very quickly and are very expensive to replace.Find another fridge to serve your needs. Pass this info. around and maybe Electrolux/Frigidaire will listen when their sales drop off.

The Engineering of the Ice Maker in the Frigidaire Gallery w/"French Doors" is the poorest design on the market. It may or may not fail Year 1 but it will fail in the future! I purchased the best Refrigerator Frigidaire / Electrolux makes which is this very Gallery Series Refrigerator and it is going to cost me 64% of my purchase price to fix a defective Ice Maker. In talking to the customer care corporate manager, they will only cover 30% or the repair cost 1+ years after purchase. This is a company that in Feb 10, 2016 LOST a class action suit on this very problem. ( [...]) The Customer care manager states they will not cover any defects post manufactures warranty, and because this defective device does not cause harm to health or well-being, NO RECALL will be issued. One time I bought this brand and sorry that I did. Mine is 3 years old, I will be replacing it this month. Started with touch system on water/ice dispensary, those touch buttons would not work in a first year in service. Had to reset it once a month, fridge would start beeping in the middle of the night and it would take me 5 minutes at 3am to clear it. Filters would have to be purchased separately for $70 every few month (expensive) but after a year it stopped prompting for filter change (annoying) Ice maker is loud but water/ice dispensing system stopped working 1.5 years after purchase. In the back if the fridge (where ice maker is) a huge rust spot that will brake through very soon and now we have rusted wet metal crumbs behind fridge on the floor and walls. Plastic strips were falling off the fridge since day one and I stopped gluing them on since they would fall of some place else. WORST EXPERIENCE, Called support but with little results. DO NOT BUY! I will never buy this brand!

Works great but makes a lot of noise, sometimes loud. We have had it for 10 months.I think this was damaged in store or a return with small dents etc.

Worst Refrigerator Ever !! Purchased at Best Buy, not on Amazon but I want to warn anyone thinking about buying this refrigerator that it's crap. Owned for 19 months. Constantly broken. Several times had to throw out all the food because it wasn't cooling. Ice maker never works. We've lost count of the number of service calls and parts that have been replaced. My wife is so sick of waiting around the house for service repairs. You've been warned about this piece of JUNK !

Worked for 2 years now it is not cooling. Fridgidaire authorized repair shop came in 3 times to change computer and it is not working. We need to defrost every 4-6 weeks for it to cool. I called in an engineer and he said it cannot be fixed. The ice dispenser is not working. This is terrible product. Do not buy.

I would avoid this product, owned it and a little after a year it stopped cooling but the freezer worked fine. The fan doesnt work, still trying to figure out if it is a wiring problem or the fan is broken. But one way or the other completely pathetic that it cant last 2 years. I am going to contact Frigidaire, Home Depot and Better Business bureau, I am pissed.
