Fast Relief for Bed Sores – A Caregiving Essential!
Taking care of my bedridden father, I’ve dealt with the challenge of pressure sores, and this terrasil Bed Sore Cream has been a real lifesaver. We had a persistent sore on his lower back that just wasn’t improving much with regular zinc oxide ointments. After reading about terrasil, I decided to give it a go despite it being a bit pricey for a small jar. I have to say, it’s worth every penny seeing the results. The cream has a thick, paste-like consistency, kind of a light gray color. It spreads on smoothly and creates a protective layer over the sore. It doesn’t sting at all; in fact, my uncle sighs in relief when I apply it, which tells me it’s soothing any raw pain he has. It’s formulated with natural ingredients (I noticed it contains stuff like zinc, magnesium oxide, and some organic oils). One thing I love is that it doesn’t have a strong medicinal odor – just a mild, almost clay-like smell that isn’t offensive. This is great because some other creams had an antibiotic smell that he hated. We applied terrasil twice a day after gently cleaning the area, and within just a week we could see a difference. The sore, which was red and angry-looking, started to get smaller and the skin around it looked less inflamed. By week two, new skin was clearly forming and the depth of the ulcer had reduced. Honestly, I was surprised at how fast it worked, because bed sores usually take a long time to heal. This cream seems to not only protect the skin but actively helps it regenerate. My guess is the “3X Action” in the name refers to its combination of protecting from infection, reducing inflammation, and promoting healing – and I believe it does all three. It also helps with the smell that can come from chronic wounds; once we started using terrasil, that issue diminished, likely because it’s fighting off bacteria. A little cream goes a long way – the 1.5 oz jar, while small, lasted through the treatment of the sore and I still have some left. Now I apply it on any red spots as a preventive measure and they haven’t turned into full sores. It’s become a staple in our caregiving toolkit. In conclusion, terrasil bed sore cream is an excellent product. It’s gentle on sensitive skin, non-irritating, and most importantly, effective in healing and preventing sores. It gave my father comfort when nothing else did, and seeing his sore nearly healed is such a relief to both of us. I wholeheartedly give this cream 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone caring for a loved one with pressure sores.

Cautiously Optimistic That This Is the First Ointment I've Tried That May Actually Be Working~
This seems to be helping with Mom's stage 2 bedsore between her butt cheeks; it is very soft and rubs off on her incontinence underwear, but I've gotten colloidal bandages that keep it in place. I'm hopeful after just two days of use that it is starting to heal the open sore; the stage 1 sore on the other side is definitely less inflamed. My only complaint is that I got a screw-top container rather than a tube, and it is very difficult to screw and unscrew the cover.

Great healing properties
This medicine is incredible. I was having trouble with a scrape on my arm with the healing process. This cream has great healing properties. I couldn’t believe how fast it worked. A bit expensive but worth every penny.

Not so effective for me
I had high hopes after reading the reviews, but so far it hasn’t made a miraculous change in wound healing. I’ve had better luck using my Avene Cicalfate products or other lotions I already had with allantoin.

Felt good on sores and cuts
This feels great and helped my bedsore heal, but only use it on open sores. It softens a closed sore by keeping it moist, which can make thay sore open more easily, so use carefully and properly
