Typhoon1 Litre Living Tea Canister, Steel, Blue, 11 x 11 x 15.5 cm

I have bought one of each colour labelled coffee, sugar and tea as I didn’t think the label was clear enough. I didn’t realise it, but you can get all three in the same colour and initially had 3 jars for tea, damn! However, these jars are excellent quality, the colour is a durable powder or enamel coating, the rim has a polished silver finish, the bamboo lid has a silicone airtight seal and there are no seams. The lid pushes on easily and requires more effort to remove; the ribbing on the cannister helps you get a good grip for this. This is a premium quality item and it will last. A real benefit over ceramic jars is that it will not smash or crack if dropped on a granite worktop. Really nice looking, functional and high quality canisters. Highly recommended.

Beautiful canister, and even more beautiful among the set. As another reviewer kindly pointed out, if you are looking for three canisters each marked “tea”, “coffee” and “sugar”, make sure you purchase them separately and not all from this item - this item is the “tea” cannister and is available in the three colours (blue, beige and cream) so if you order one of each colour through this one you will receive three different colours but all marked “tea”. So I purchased one of each of the tea, coffee and sugar canisters and they are beautiful. They are airtight, feel sturdy and are great quality. Another reviewer thought it was expensive for what you got but I think they are beautiful and think they look and feel more expensive than they were. Highly recommend.

This is a nice tea canister, and a good size. Colour not quite as attractive as the picture, but still very nice. The seal is extremely good which, because there is no knob on the top of the lid to grasp, unfortunately make it difficult to remove it with my slightly arthritic hands every time I want to make a cup of tea. Sadly I'm going to have to buy another with a lid that is easier to remove.

We ordered the set of 3 canisters - Coffee, Sugar and Tea.Three canisters turned up, which was great!.... Except they ALL say "Tea" on them.I don't mind tea, (but I really prefer coffee), but I don't drink so much of it that I need THREE canisters!The phrase, "You had one job..." springs to mind.When tried to return the items the so called Freepost address is sketchy to say the least and our post office wouldn't accept the parcel.Dealsdirect 247 customer service must be very busy with customer complaints as it takes 3 to 4 days for them to respond and ONLY via email (unless you're prepared to use a premium rate customer service number, which no one answers- believe me I tried!).All in all a very poor performance by what, on the face of it appears to be a very sketchy company.

After reading the reviews for the multipack and some receiving the same tin twice in the pack eg. 2 coffee tins 1 sugar....I decided to purchase them separately. No problems, so pleased with them. Stunning tins, gorgeous duck egg blue colour, airtight, no marks or scratches, lovely size. Highly recommend and looks fab with the cookie tin and utensils pot Ive bought to match :)
