I finally found a travel mirror that is large enough, bright enough, magnified enough and the suction really sticks. If anything, the suction is too strong - I read other reviews that said it didn't stick, but I put a drop of water on the suction cup, pressed it firmly on the mirror, and turned the housing around the stem (tightens it down I think), and I had to dig my nail in to get it off when I was packing up and heading home - it stuck great. I did notice that the brightness does not last - it was really bright for the first couple of trips, and now it is not as bright, but sufficient. It may have turned on accidentally in my suitcase and used up batteries...? It is still a great product as I have been looking for a really good travel mirror for quite some time.

Love the size, the bag to carry it in, the magnifying power, the light and it seems to be very well made. The only warning I would have is: take the batteries out when you travel. The power button on top turns on very easily and I could see it being on in your suitcase and then no battery power! Otherwise, it is a great travel mirror in my opinion.

This is a very good magnifying mirror. The light is very bright, which is what I was looking for. The 10x magnification is a little stronger than I would like. You can't have your face more than 3 inches from the mirror without significant distortion. It's really intended for intense close up work. It's great for detailed work with tweezers. I have a 5x magnification mirror that I can be about 9 inches away from before the distortion gets bad. That's a more practical distance for seeing your whole face at once.My only complaint about the mirror is the battery drain. I used this for about 10 minutes every day and the batteries didn't even last 1 month. The light continually gets dimmer and dimmer as the batteries drain. It takes 3 AAA batteries so that can add up if you are replacing them every month. It's great for travel though. It's not too big or bulky to pack in a suitcase. Mine traveled across the country in my checked luggage without a problem. Just be sure you take out one of the batteries before packing it or the light will switch on and completely drain the batteries.

Finally! Lightweight, stable, functional in dark hotel bathrooms,& on my cruise ship! Used it on flat surfaces. Carried batteries in separate little bag as others suggested, and a little bubble-wrap because I didn’t want to take a chance on rough baggage handling. The whole thing fits in velveteen carry bag! I’m going back to Europe this fall, and it’s coming with me, again!

So much to like about this little travel mirror, but unfortunately 10X magnification requires one to be entirely too close to the mirror, to avoid distortion. I love that it came with a little travel pouch, and was easy to suction to a mirror, however I ultimately returned to this product for a mirror with less magnification.

First, the not-so-great: this mirror is kind of small. But! The magnification is unbelievable! I wear reading glasses, but i don't need them at all, with this mirror. I've tried lower magnification mirrors, and they are frustratingly blurry to me. (And i can't do eye makeup with glasses on.) And bright! Holy smoke! The light is superb. You will not be disappointed.This mirror comes with a cutesy bag, which may or may not be important to you. It is nice to have for traveling, though. The manufacturers will also send you some useful tips, which are helpful. I have not yet used the suction cup, but i'm sure it's fine. (It will stand on a surface without sucking.) Even if the suction cup didn't work, i would NOT return this. If your makeup, eyebrows, or beard trim look good in this mirror, you are 100% guaranteed to look fantastic in public, or at home with your dog...who would most likely not pass judgement on you anyway, even if you looked like a week of bad weather. Nevertheless.Get your three triple-A batteries ready, as this does not come with batteries, alas. A small inconvenience for such a fantastic product! Finally, i thought the price was reasonable. Ps, the base will tilt, so you can attach this to a wall, or a full-length wall mirror, which is what i'm planning to do.

I bought this mirror 15 months ago to use at home and for travel. At this point, I have to replace it, and I'm going with something better. On the pro side, the magnification is very good, and the lights (when you have new batteries in) is very bright. It stuck well to all the mirrors I stuck it to, and was lightweight for travel. The cons: the batteries run out very fast. I've had to change them three times, and they only stay bright for a couple months, then the light begins to fade. The other day I went to change them for the fourth time, and despite multiple new batteries and my checking to make sure they fit, the light would not light up at all. The product had become inconvenient enough for me to decide to toss it. Your results may vary, but I would not recommend.

It ended up being a lot smaller than I expected. Yes, the measurements were in the description so that was on me. It is 100% PERFECT for travel. Keep the box. It's small enough to go in your suitcase. The mirror is not so curved it is more flat so it is easier to actually see the sides of your face; unlike other mirrors where the sides of your face get blurry. I can actually see all the way to my ear lobe clearly with this mirror. I really like it better than my last mirror which is much bigger. It's easier to see my eyebrows even the really fine hairs that normally you have to get with waxing.

Please do NOT buy this product. Its image quality is distorted and NOT magnified. Even though it is a seller fulfilled product, once the sale is made the seller does not accept returns.
