I recommend these "Extended-Use" briefs for absorption qualities. Previously I was using the regular or standard Prevail "Per-Fit" brief for my 90 yr old mother bedridden from Stoke complications. The Per-Fit briefs work fine for casual use. The Extended -Use briefs absorb better, and protects the skin from being saturated with urine during the night. I now use them for mom during the day as well. It doesn't negate the need for timely and proper cleaning, but it does give me a good nights sleep, since I know she is well protected if she urinates a couple of times during the night.
