This solid hitch step, chosen for my new Lexus TX 500h after reviewing multiple hitch step options with various flaws, proved to be a great pick. The weatherproof lining was intact, all hardware fit perfectly, and parts were complete. A dry fit confirmed no interference with the rear sensor. The included hitch pin with lock was slightly long, but with patience, I adjusted it successfully by locking it without the key in place. The final install looks better than expected, offering a sturdy and clean addition.

Purchased this step for my 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - It is extremely sturdy, easy to install, and looks good. I would highly recommend this step - I felt it was a great value and would purchase from this company again.

What I can see about the Hilight Hitch Step is that it is well made with different design choices. But, it is obviously not made for the Ford Maverick. Weather you purchase a Maverick with a trailer hitch or have an after market one, the Nilight Hitch Step will interfere with the License Plate mounted to the right side of the bumper.

Great rear protection on Honda pilot. It’s heavy duty and very secure. Great step and protection for the rear of the car.

This is perfect for the back of my wrangler. Nice sturdy step to help me adjust the soft top from the back. Has made things much easier. I got it a 4 star only because it's not going to be easy to take off and on. The brace used to sturdy up the step which also keeps it quiet while driving is not an easy off. Also the lock post that came with it is hard to get in because my light plug is in the way and the post is longer than others I've used. It took some finagling to get the lock on it. It's much more permanent than I really intended. I like to change from bike rack to trailer etc and that's not going to be an easy switch anymore. It looks nice though and well built.

** 1yr later Update ** Purchased on October 2, 2024, its 1 yr and 1 month later, and rust is starting to form, the coating is starting to flake off. Also the pin lock, the lock itself it showing rust spots too. Not a major issue for me, I live in New England and everything rusts up here, however I do not drive this Jeep on salted roads. Great complete kit to add a step and maybe some addition rear protection. There are a few holes to use to adjust the depth you want your step. For my use Its roughly in the middle, I could have easily extended it out a couple more inches. The pin lock is nice, its not for towing, thats obvious, but its a decent locking one. Rubber o-rings to use to keep it from rattling around, and a R pin incase you don't want to use the lock. Everything bolted up fine, I used blue thread locker so its a rough ride on my Jeep, don't need it getting lose and parts falling off anymore than it normally does. Highly recommend this, now time will tell if the finish rusts.

Basically easy install if you watch the amazon product video. Paper instructions don't tell you very much. Once installed strong/sturdy/solid. Great bumper protection. I had a 'plastic' one earlier and it helped, but this one I have a lot of confidence.

I wanted this for the wifes car, weve had issues with people in parking lots hitting her old car and cracking the paint on the bumper so when we got the new one i decided to give her a little more room. The kit was easy to install and came with everything needed to work and keep it quiet. Looks good and will work great.

Missing essential part.the T connection to the Hitch.Otherwise looks very sturdy and nice. Wish there was a way to contact the seller to send the missing piece but instead the only available option to send it back.

It was better than I thought. it doesn't interfere with my camera and is solid.

Excelente equipo, me ayuda muchisimo a subir en mi pick up frontier, no interfiere con los sensores de reversa, ayuda a proteger la camioneta de quien me pegue en la defensa trasera, viene con seguro anti robo y se ve muy bien. Viene en terminacion antiderrapante.

Love the product have noticed a difference with people being behind my truck not tailgating anymore. Fits perfectly in the 2024 Tacoma Sport Premium package. With that said the 3½ hitch lock the product comes with WILL NOT fit for those with a 4inch width receiver. On the 2024 Tacoma (at least mine) you have your standard 2inch receiver and it's welded to a 4inch shell. So you will need to get a 4½ lock which does work. Satisfied with the product everything looks great.
