Works great
Repeat customer on this product. Works and fits great. Buttons are a little tight until used often.

Excellent Products, keeps my Ipod very safe
Once you follow the instructions and seal the case properly it's very effective at protecting your Ipod, it looks nice, its not bulky or heavy, and the touchscreen remains interactive. I'm very pleased with this product, just make sure not to loose the headphone adaptor. All of the port caps give a nice tight fit, overall a very good buy.

It's not what I was looking for
I purchased this case for my IPOD Touch thinking it would cover the front and the back of the IPOD. Unfortunately, it only covers the back, which in my mind makes no sense. Why would I only protect the back of a brand new IPOD with no protection for the front. Maybe there was something missing in my package, but the case is being returned. If that's what you're looking for then I think it would be great as it seems sturdy enough. I chalk this one up to "my bad." I hate to give it only 1 star because I really believe I just picked the wrong item for my needs.

Value
When my case finally wore out, after a year, I carried my iPod loose for a couple days until I could replace the case. It broke during that time. Having to replace an iPod every two days for a year would have cost me 55 thousand dollars. This case is an investment. The waterproof gaskets are not as durable as the rest of the case.

Its Lifeproof
This is a great case for the iPod touch. LifeProof did a very good job on it quality wise. The case feels great in my hand and it looks amazing. All camera functions are excellent with no interference and all buttons work the way they should (with the exception of the power button. It is very sensitive to touch, but I can turn it on or off.) However, I just cannot get over the fact that this case is sealed by a sticker. And once that sticker is sealed, You cannot remove the iPod without breaking the seal and rendering the screen protector part of the case useless. One thing I hope that LifeProof will do is make a case for the iPod like their iPhone cases. I would have given this 5 stars, but I feel like the case is just missing the protection for the screen. (And its sealed by a permanent sticker!) For the price I paid, ($50.00) I expect nothing less than the LifeProof quality that we are all use to. SO would I recommend this to a friend? Yes, I would. Its a great case made by a great company. I would just tell them to be aware that the iPod gets sealed in permanently once you put the screen protector on the case. Simple Breakdown Pros -"Life" Proof -Slim Look -Feels great -Camera ports are crystal clear -Feels like it could take a good fall and protect the iPod -Charging/Ear Bud ports are easily accessible -Speaker sound is much better that original LifeProof Cases -Clear back to see iPod Color Cons -Uses a STICKER for seal -On/Off button VERY sensitive -Cannot remove iPod from case once the screen protector is installed -Could use a little more of a lip around the screen to protect it -Did I mention it uses a permanent sticker for the seal?

Looks cheap, it works though.
These cases look janky af when you open the box and look at it you are gonna be like there’s no way this is worth the money I’ve paid for this. It totally is. I have a 7 year old child on the spectrum who will just huck his iPod when it’s dead instead of asking for a new one. I have seen him throw it over out 6 foot privacy fence, watches the iPod bounce off the driveway and into the neighbors yard. I know for a fact this has happened multiple times as I have found iPods in the driveway in the morning and in the neighbors yard on multiple occasions. This case looks cheap but it will protect your device.

Abysmal Experience and Quality...
Monumentally Disappointing!! Worked superbly for the first several months, then moisture started leaking into the seams and now at 7 months after the purchase—the tabs for the charging & hedphones input- seals are either completely broken off or 1/2 broken off. To charge my iPod, I now need a safety pin to access the seal for the charging port. I will soon have to access the headphones jack inputs with a safety pin as well—once it finishes breaking off. 4 months of gainful utilization for near $50.00–REALLY? I’m going’s to try and contact the company, LIFEPROOF, to see if they’ll honor some kind of warranty—otherwise it’s my VERY LAST purchase from them. CARPE EMPTOR kids.

A pretty good case, but not without problems.
This was my second LifeProof case for my iPhone 6. I bought the first one around June 2015. The ringer button boot cracked and came off about 13 months later. In August 2016, on a sea kayak journey from Washington, DC to Buffalo, NY, I was standing in on the side of the Erie Canal in knee deep water. I was trying to rig up a pole to hold my kayak away from the riprap wall, At some point, I bent over and the phone/case fell out of my PFD pocket without my noticing. A little while later, I decided to take a picture and I noticed my pocket was empty. I had forgotten to zip it up. DREAD! I totally freaked out. I thought of a month of photos from my sea kayak journey lost because of my incompetence. I knew it would leak because the ringer switch boot was broken off. I was pretty sure the phone would have sunk but wasn't certain. I looked around for a few seconds, then I decided to run and look downstream in case it had floated with the current. I never saw anything. After a couple minutes I decided to run back to the kayak and search the bottom carefully. Voila, I saw the phone, it was sitting on the rocks about 6 inches deep. I grabbed it. I knew I needed to get the case off the phone immediately to save my phone. I didn't know how to open it. I started the phone up. It worked and I did a Google search: "How to open a LifeProof case." Once I read a few lines I got my wallet and found a coin to pry it with. I got it open quickly. I found a few drops of water inside. I immediately dried the phone off with paper towels. Relief! Thankfully, I never had any problems with that phone due to the water. I realized that if I ever dropped the phone from the kayak, it would be gone forever. In response to this incident, I bought a new case from Amazon to solve the leaking button boot problem. . I crazy glued a hook on the back of the case. I made a lanyard and always hooked it to a loop on my PFD. Now my phone would never be lost if dropped it while shooting from the kayak. I made it to Buffalo. I motored the kayak to the Mississippi River headwaters and paddled to the Gulf of Mexico. The new case with lanyard did the job. I have a lot of experience with the Lifeproof case. It is a pretty solid case. THE CONS: The bud adapter cables are crap, they generally fail after about 2 or 3 weeks of daily exposure to fresh water. This is my experience with the Lifeprrof iPhone and iPod cases. None of my adapter cables have lasted longer than 3 weeks. Annoying! The ringer switch boot is very stiff, so a large amount of force is required to actuate the switch. It's annoying. Again, the button boot cracked and came off after about a year on my first iPhone case. These cases should have a hole where a lanyard can be fastened! I'll keep buying these high priced cases until I find something better.

Not Impressed!!!!
Very cheaply made. Stick on face. Couldn’t use the button functions. Definitely not the same Quality as their iPhone cases. I had to settle for an Otterbox Defender, which isn’t waterproof but is Very Strong.

great if you're gonna end up dropping your device
Put it under 3 ft. of water and the seal started to fail, but no water damage, thank goodness, other than that, bulky case, great if you're gonna end up dropping your device, s***'s rugged.
