Compatible with all coolant types, it prevents corrosion and electrolysis while lubricating water pump seals, ensuring your vehicle’s cooling system runs efficiently and reliably in all conditions. ## Description Purple Ice is a high performance, synthetic, radiator coolant additive. It reduces engine heat by reducing the surface tension of the radiator fluids for improved heat transfer. Purple Ice fosters optimum coolant flow by helping to prevent formation of scale deposits in the radiator. It also lubricates the water pump seals. Purple Ice should always be used in conjunction with antifreeze in regions where freezing temperatures occur. Purple Ice is recommended for any water/glycol pressurized cooling system, including those using the traditional green silicate based glycols or the newer OAT or HOAT based glycols. ## Features - OPTIMIZES PROTECTION - Prevents erosion and electrolysis - Compatible with all coolants types - Contains lubricants to protect the water pump - Fit type: Vehicle Specific ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000BRGAJ2 | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,540 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #32 in Antifreezes & Coolants | | Brand | Royal Purple | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,853) | | Date First Available | 8 August 2012 | | Item Weight | 363 g | | Item model number | ROY01600 | | Manufacturer | Royal Purple | | Manufacturer Part Number | 01600 | | Model | 01600 | | OEM Part Number | 01600 | | Position | Center | | Product Dimensions | 9.53 x 2.9 x 19.05 cm; 362.87 g | | Voltage | 12 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Royal Purple - **Item weight:** 363 g - **Liquid volume:** 1 Quarts - **Recommended uses for product:** Automotive - **Specific uses for product:** Vehicle Radiator Cooling System ## Images ![Royal Purple 01600 Purple Ice Super-Coolant Radiator Additive - 12 oz. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pPLJPYeHL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: how about a cadi norhtstar engine?** A: Yes.
