Cursed Dollhouse is amazing!
We tried the Cursed Dollhouse game and really loved it. At first, I balked at the extra price, but now I understand why it’s pricier than Dr Gravely’s Retreat and Stargazer Manor. It’s an actual buildable dollhouse, and you explore rooms and discover clues one room at a time. There are a lot of props, too, which adds to your set of clues and to the experience. We’ve played Dr Gravely’s Retreat before and liked it, but felt it was pretty easy. This one is a bit harder; we had to use our brains, but didn’t really get stuck too much. This game has a lot more atmosphere, and a good balance between storyline and puzzling. We spent about 4 hours with two people, and didn’t use their hint system. I wish they’d make another! I was so sorry when it was done. Definitely worth the price. EDIT: We played Stargazer’s Manor a few weeks later. Having heard it was easy, we gave it to our kids (ages 5 & 9). They finished it without help from us in 70 minutes. Very fun and kid-friendly, but quite easy.

CRAP
While it looks super intricate and awesome, it does not make any sense like majority of escape rooms. It’s like the inventor was high when it was made. There were three things that made sense. The rest was absolutely stupid. Garbage. Waste of money

A fun (though expensive) mystery!
A fun game for our family of four. It’s priced on the high side, but will pass it along to some friends to get more use out of it. Some puzzles were delightfully clever, while others were obscure and frustrating. The rooms were shadowy in the box. We used our phone lights and cameras to improve visibility. One prop ripped while trying to unstick it. The adhesive overall was not well-executed. The storyline was good, and overall we enjoyed the game.

Family fun! Great value for $$! Challenging!
Quarantine got ya down? Feeling trapped? This escape room at home is the excellent solution to all of your boredom woes. It’s a scary story, haunted house of puzzle horrors and escape room all in one!! The instructions come with a very detailed manual that narrates a story as you move from room to room. The story is creative, fun and engaging and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The puzzles were moderate to complete, challenging enough to keep you engaged but easy enough to finish with little to no use of hints. Assembly is extremely easy!! And reassembling is super easy as well so you can regift it to a friend. Excellent quality product. The box/house is sturdy enough that it is not falling apart after one use of assembly and disassembly. All of the clues are used so there is no wasted cardboard anywhere in this game. Highly recommend! (Caution- it is intended to be a “cursed” dollhouse so it may be a little creepy for younger audiences. We did the game as a family and just censored it as we felt it was needed for our 7 year old. It is clean and not satanic but there are some images in the puzzles that may be too much for little ones).

Not worth it
Some of the puzzles were poorly produced. Especially the one using the UV light. The ink seemed like it had faded to the point where we had to look it up online to figure it out. I can't recommend this.
