Top of the Line!! Well designed and built! I have used this for several years now. I prime the inside in the morning using hot water, then fill it full with hot coffee or hot tea. This is the first thermos that actually keeps my coffee HOT, not warm, not tepid, HOT for the entire workday!!! Highly recommend! Thanks Thermos!!!

Oh my goodness. I really like this thermos- My coffee was still hot after 7 hrs- that has never happened with any other thermos I have purchased. and best of all DOES NOT LEAK! I did not know about this brand, but now I do! Yes I would recommend. I am looking to buy a larger one so I can share.

Love everything about this thermos from color, to appearance, size and outside texture. The size is perfect for bringing to work especially in the winter when it’s freezing and I need to warm up from the inside out with my hot tea. (Coffee I’m guessing works too but I don’t like the taste of that so haven’t tried). Anyway, thermos is made from quality material that I know will last me a lifetime. I chose to hand wash mine but it is dishwasher safe. I love the fact you don’t need to worry about bringing a cup for your drink, it is the actual lid and it’s a perfect amount to pour and sip. I thought the price was super fair since I’ll be using it for the rest of my life!! I’d definitely consider getting this again but gifting it to someone so they could enjoy it too.

Got this to replace a very old glass vacuum Thermos bottle that broke after decades of use. This newer design seems quite rugged and does a great job of holding temperature; so far, I've just used it for cold liquids.

First of all, it's Thermos brand, and they know their business. It keeps my coffee piping hot, just as it should. It holds 2 regular mugs of coffee, which is the right size for me, and the shape is very nice, easy to hold. All-in-all, an excellent design. Oddly, the cap/cup does not appear to be insulated at all. It gets quite warm (or cold, I suppose) when used. In this size of cup, I don't think it's all that important. The cap/cup realistically holds a measured 3 ounces. You are not going to be sipping at it for any length of time. The cup size is very much like an espresso cup in size and shape. Which makes me want to fill this thing up with cappuccino next time... or just straight up black lightning espresso. Perfect for a long drive! And it will put hair on your chest! But, the BEST part is the stopper. Every bottle like this I've ever owned that had a button or a spout or some other fancy thing still left a few drops in the mechanism that dripped out when you laid it down after pouring. Not a "leak," just a few residual drops. Always a little bit of a hassle, but not all that important. This stopper design does not do that! Drip-free! Free at last! LOL Maybe that's a minor point, but I always appreciate good design. The Thermos people figured it out.

Recently, within the past couple of months, I have purchased two of these Thermoses from Amazon. I was attracted by the Thermos reputation for quality products, the pleasant appearance, stainless steel triple-walled construction, and the expectation of keeping hot coffee and teas drinkable at desirable temperatures for long periods. I have found that if I fill one of these with a hot beverage just barely cooled enough to drink comfortably and close both the inner stopper and the outer lid, the coffee or tea stays hot for long hours and is still warm enough to enjoy after as much as 13 or 14 hours. This includes drinking from the Thermos several times during that time. Mostly I use these excellent containers to keep by my bed overnight to drink a few swallows each time I wake up to go to the bathroom. I'm a man in my mid-80's and usually get up at least twice or three times, sometimes four if I've drunk a lot of beverage before bedtime. Because coffee acts as a diuretic in my body, I try to refrain from drinking any caffeine after 2:00 PM, but occasionally I drink a little as late as 2:30 or 3:00. I do not agree with those reviewers that these Thermoses fail to keep the beverages hot or warm for 12 hours, as the seller/manufacturer claims. To reiterate, I believe the secret is to keep the stopper and lid tightly closed and not allowing the container to stand opened for any length of time. My one complaint, if any, is that the top opening is so small. I do not understand why the instructions for use state do not drink from the uncovered opening -- I drink from all the of the containers I use directly from the uncovered opening, as I do not care to drink through openings in lids or covers. Because of the too-small opening, I have to mix my beverages in another container in order to add creamer for coffee or cool water for tea, and then pour the beverage into the Thermos; stir well, then pour into one of these Thermoses. This works best for me but should not be necessary if the uncovered opening were larger for normal drinking. My rating is 4-star instead of 5 because of the too-small opening.

It's a very nice product overall; after about 7-8 hours at room temperature you can feel the drink get somewhat colder but it will be drinkable for about 10 hours. Considering it's 16oz most of the time I don't even need it to stay hot for more than 2-3 hours. The narrower ring in the middle makes it easy to hold while pouring and carrying, also a really nice touch to the design. The lid-cup is comfortable to drink from and not too big which I personally like. The only issue is that there doesn't seem to be any insulation for the lid so the outside does get hot while drinking, doesn't bother me too much but you might want to consider that. I also dont really know how other vacuum bottles handle this. I wouldnt substract a star for this. The inside plastic cap screws in a little bit tight, so sometimes it's hard to open with wet hands, though I don't know if it will loosen up over time. On the positive side there is absolutely no concern for leaks. Unscrewing the cap half way to pour out of it works really well.The water stream is nice and narrow as long as you consider the arrows which point to where to pour from. Lastly, the thing has a simple design so cleaning it is absolutely no problem. The only thing you may want to consider is the rubber seal which should be taken out and cleaned underneath every once in a while. Don't know if it's actually necessary but better safe than sorry. To summarize: Function: 5/5 can't really expect much more for this size bottle and for this price. Ergonomics: 4/5 Overall quite good but Lid-cup gets hot and cap is somewhat tight sometimes. Design: 5/5 Brushed steel is timeless. Some neat touches to distinguish it. Build Quality: 5/5 Nothing to complain really. Feels solid and sturdy, won't leak.

Bought this item as my dad had something similar when I was growing up (the green one by another company). My husband and I each bought one to lug around work, given that we need coffee due to the long hours at work. This little guy has not disappointed in the last few weeks I've had it. It keeps my coffee hot for several hours; and the little cup makes it quite beneficial to drink. Sturdy little thing. It fits perfectly in my cup holder as well as in my tote bag without spilling. Highly recommended.
