Glad I installed it.
I have put over 35,000 miles on my vehicle since adding this heater. Initially the high/low switch would get warm when using the high setting. We had to solid solder the ground instead of the quick connect to solve the problem. At idle the high setting draws too many amps so I only use the high setting when driving. We installed the thermostat when doing the heater install. Not absolutely neccessary but recommended.
