The reason they sat there was I couldn't get the pump to remove the air. Then I looked on the Thing i verse site and found the puck that allows the pump to work properly. It creates a space for the air to be removed. Now I can store the filament in a similar environment to when it was purchased. The bags hold vacuum well once they are stored. Now that I know the trick, I am going to purchase more.
