Not good for heavy periods
These tampons are great value for money when on offer however that being said you have to change them more frequently than other brands as they aren't very absorbent - I suffer with PCOS and do not recommend them to anyone who has a slightly heavy period even though they are super plus they are more of a standard absorbing tampon

Short strings ...
I'm using tampons for over 25 years from lots of different brands. Due to Brexit delivery issues here in ROI I couldn't get them locally, so I've ordered these here for the first time. But I'm not really happy with them as the strings are very short, never had that issue in over 25 years with any other tampon brand. When removing you always have to "search" for it first which is a bit annoying ...

Excellent
So pleased to have found these. They're every bit as good as their brand name equivalent - at a fraction of the price! 👍

Seem like they'll work great!
Admittedly, I haven't actually had the chance to test these yet... I have a really dodgy cycle, so to speak, and fortunately I've not needed to test one out properly. Hopefully this review will still help someone! As my first run in with applicator free tampons, I can definitely understand the appeal. Not only do you cut down on a lot of plastic, but they're also a lot easier to store / transport - these definitely take up a lot less room. Each one is sealed in a little plastic cover that easily twists off.I ran one under a tap out of curiosity, and they expanded well, matching the same "capacity" as the applicator ones that I've used, also by Amazon. Honestly, I can't imagine there being much difference between these and any name brand, other than the price different.Just a note though, since I'm a numpty who didn't properly look at the listing. Ordering this will get you 4 boxes, totalling 128 tampons. It's definitely worth the money so long as you have the space to keep them - at 4p per tampon, you can't go wrong.

Great on the whole
I’ve been using these this past week and have on the whole been very happy with them. Within the box they are individually wrapped with thin cellophane and you twist them to break the cellophane to open. I found the best way is to hold the base of the tampon in one hand then grip the top half with your other hand and twist away from you.The string is securely attached and long enough. Smooth insertion and perfectly comfortable. They expand widthways but not lengthways and had very good absorption, they functioned just as well as the branded tampons I normally use.I dropped one star because with a couple of them when I pulled the string out before insertion, quite a bit of the wadding came away too and I worried a little about fibres coming loose when actually inserted?
