Wonderskin Lip Stain Set – Long Lasting, Waterproof, Lip Tint Peel Off

I thought I would give this lip stain a try, but I was unsure if I would like it. I have found that lip stains really have not worked for me and they tend to dry out my lips; however, I really like this product. There is some trial and error involved and I quickly found out how this product works best for me. First, I put a face moisturizer on my lips. I then put a thick coat of the stain on my lips but I try not to get any stain on the inside of my lips because it doesn't come off easily and I have flecks on the inside of my lips that have to be picked off. I usually put on two heavy coats. I then spray one or two pumps of the sealer on the stain. After about five minutes I scrub it off with the cloth that comes with the stain. It doesn't peal off like the commercial shows. If you don't moisturize your lips prior, it is hard to get the stain to rub off. The stain stays on my lips all day. If my lips start drying out, as they do all the time even without this stain, I put on some chap stick throughout the day. The chap stick does not cause the stain to come off. In fact, on some days, the stain has stayed on my lips until I take off my makeup at the end of the day. Of course it does fade some throughout the day but you can reapply or just add some chap stick or gloss which seems to revive the stain. I will continue to repurchase.

Awesome! I purchased Whimsical for myself and XOXO for my 20 year old daughter. Looks great, lasts about 3-4 hours for the full color look but slowly wears off. I don't wear a lot of make-up so this is a great addition to a very minimal look without having to reapply.

This is definitely a stain, not a lipstick or gloss, which I appreciate. I wear Invisalign braces and have to use a stain to prevent getting lipstick all over them. Wonderskin is a stain, and I do not have any issues with transfer, on my braces or cups, etc. However, I scored it a 3 for 2 reasons. One, the color is very faint. I left it on for at least 5 minutes as suggested to darken the color. Although it was slightly darker than just leaving it on for 1 minute as directed, it was still very faint and the color was nowhere close to what was shown in the description or the video. By midday, it looks almost like I have nothing on; there's barely any color. I have 2 colors, and both have the same result. One of the advantages for using stain is so that you don't have to re-apply throughout the day. I don't want to be sitting at my desk in the office with this bright blue color on my lips, so re-applying is not an option. The other reason for the score of 3 is the difficulty and mess it makes taking it off to reveal the color. I've tried makeup remover wipes, just water on a tissue and the spray included in the kit. None of it works easily. The makeup remover wipe takes off too much and you're left with barely any product. The spray in the kit does not make it peel off easily as advertised. It does create a peeling effect, but it flakes and peels off making a big mess and leaving residue all around my mouth and on my teeth/braces. The water on the tissue works best but is still a mess. It spreads the blue color all around your mouth no matter how careful you are, and you have to really scrub to get the blue color off if you have anything but completely smooth lips. I had high hopes to finally find a true lip stain with vibrant colors, but this is not the "miracle product" I had hoped for.

The product itself is incredible. I knocked a star off b/c I think the packaging could use some work. Mine arrived and had leaked. I didn't realize it had leaked at first, I thought the tube had a tye-dye effect on it to show the color you purchased, but then was wondering why my fingers were all hot pink when I was being careful not to let the 'blue' color touch anything but my lips .. I realized shortly after that the product has leaked and was all over the tub and that's what made my fingers bright pink. Once I got it cleaned up though, it's been great. I'd say the stain lasts about 6'ish hours which is pretty fantastic! It goes on smooth and easily. the applicator tip is easy to work to get the product exactly where you want it. I left it on for about 30 seconds then wiped it off with a wet cotton pad, the blue part came off in 1 easy swipe and i was left with a shockingly bright pink pout! It dries with a matte finish, which you can add gloss over if you like, but i prefer the matte look. It doesn't have an odor, or any scent. My lips felt as soft as they normally do all day. I apply chapstick throughout the day anyway for the spf protection, and I oil my lips before bed, I didn't notice that this product dried them out at all. I was pleasantly surprised whenever I looked in the mirror and saw that it was still on. It's not a lipstick you can feel at all. The neon rose color is a very bright pink! I didn't leave it on the full minute because I could see that it was already getting very very bright. I applied it around 3PM, I had dinner at 8PM, which had salad, and break with olive oil.. after dinner it definitely faded from the oils.. but that's 5 hours still that it looked great. I threw a bit more on after I ate and it looked great the rest of the night. The tube is bigger than most of my lipsticks and glosses, it's the same size as most mascara tubes. The color romance might be my favorite of the two I got. Romance looks like a more exaggerated shade of my natural lip color, kinda like I've been biting my lip a lot or, making out with someone for a while. It's more subtle than the neon rose, it's more like a dusty rose. Still in the red family with a hint of orange.

I have found My Holy Grail! I have tried every band I can get my hands on for a long lasting stain for my lips 💋. This is so easy to apply if you watch some of the videos. First time I nailed it, and I was surprised because I was nervous about it. I applied it like a liner and did a heavy coat 3 times. Read the instructions on the box! 30-60 seconds. The first time you apply, be very careful and it should turn out the way it is instructed. Spray the activator on carefully and it does peel right off! You can redo the process if it is not to your liking of color and you want to enhance it. I put so much on the first time that it stained my lips a perfect berry color. When you use the lip stain, be very careful to line your lips appropriately. Because this stuff will not come off, and that's exactly what I was looking for in a stain. After you spray the activator be careful because it can dribble a bit.So get black towel out and make sure to get it off of your chin or wherever it might dribble. This is possibly because it was my first time trying. I just ate something and nothing came off. The only thing is you may notice a slight tingling in your lips, but that will subside. I have extremely sensitive skin and my lips get cracked from time to time. Because of the dry climate, I live in. I used the exfoliator first the three in one. I applied the activator after I applied the color. I topped it off with one of the glosses that is recommended for this brand and it made my dryish lips immediately immediately film moisturized and conditioned. The only drawback I can find is that if your lips are cracked or have dry skin. This will pocket because it is something that stains dry skin as well and may not look as good Also, I would go with a lighter color than I purchased, if you're looking for more of that jlo** glow or natural look. I recommend this highly to anyone. Looking for a fantastic lip stain that will last for a really long time? I recommended this to my best friend and I recommend it to you.

I gave this stuff two stars because the lip stain does stay on for most of the day. It lost three stars because the blue peelable part dries and doesn't actually come off evenly. I tried using the product twice and had the same problem both times. The developer/fixative spray doesn't just spray your lips, you end up wearing it from your nose to your chin and although it was sweet tasting, it burned my skin and had to be washed off after a few minutes requiring that I redo my makeup on the lower part of my face. I just threw the stuff in the trash.

5 stars for me. I chose Charming, and the color is a beautiful, true rosy shade that gives my lips noticeable color without looking overdone. I’ve tried several brands of lip stains, and there is definitely a trick to getting the best result with this one. I applied a thick, even layer — actually multiple coats — and let it dry completely before using the activator spray. That gave me the easiest peel and the best color payoff. Once I got the hang of it, it was very easy to use. No noticeable fragrance or weird texture. After peeling it off, I was left with a really pretty, natural-looking color that stayed put. I especially like having color and definition on my lips without having to constantly reapply lip liner throughout the day. There was a little learning curve, but once I figured out the application, it worked great. Gorgeous shade, will buy again.

I got the XOXO shade and I absolutely love the color! It has such a beautiful payoff and looks even better once it’s applied. It also lasts for a good amount of time, which I really appreciate. My only complaints are that it can be a little difficult to peel off easily, and I wish the activation spray nozzle produced a finer, more even mist. Those two things would make the application process much easier. You also get that tingling feeling after applying the mist too! Overall, I’m really happy with the color and how it turns out. I would definitely try other colors!

I really like this lip stain! The Romance shade is a nice natural pink, perfect for everyday wear. It was easy to apply and worked well. The colour started to fade about halfway through the day, but the instructions do recommend reapplying. Once I reapplied it, the colour looked great again. Overall, I'm happy with it!

Stays on well and doesn't rub off when drinking ect. You need to exfoliate your lips though. It sticks more to the dry skin so can look a bit like you've been drinking blackcurrant or something if you're not careful.

I tried it and it was messy. The first layer keeps on removing on its own and gives uneven pigment making your lips look odd and patchy. I gave it a second time I was thought i did something wrong on the first application and happened the same. When you apply also, there’s a strange stinging sensation. idk maybe this product is not for me.
