Takes up nearly a full 11" box in my travel tacklebox. Why's it gotta be so big? Great otherwise, don't let my review turn you off. I guess it's not made *only* for fishing. I want to score it a 4, but don't think that's fair. Just providing feedback for other pond hoppers

Easy to use. Only used a couple of times so far but really like the design and ease of use. It seems to be accurate in what I can test.

If you need a decent scale, go for this one. Prize is higher, but it’s worth every penny. I hope it lasts for many years.

On button no longer seems to be working or is somehow stuck. I have to pull battery and reinstall to hope it turns on, weigh what I need, turn off and won’t turn back on until I remove/reinstall the battery again.Update: now a few months later since last review, 1.5 years since purchase, this scale will turn on and nothing else. Only button that works is off. Will not turn back on unless taking out battery and reinstalling. Cannot weight anything. Very disappointed for $100 scale

Good scale... Use it to weight out the feed for the horse.Zero (tare) is easy, but too easily reset, ugh! No backlight so very difficult to read in a horse barn. Turns off too quickly, but then what is a good auto-off time, should be a user setting.Accuracy... Okay, +/- 0.5 pounds at 10 pounds (I use a 10 pound weight to verify). At on with memory tare +/- 0.1 repeatablity.Recommend: Manufacture to improve the items mentioned in this review. Buyer: If these limitation and actually preformance numbers are okay, buy it.
