Boxed up in this nice case is a fantastic set-up that you can easily haul around to locations or just put away when not in use.It is more expensive than similar kits but I find the build quality is quite good and the remote works well- this is a convenient touch that similar kits don't include. The light bars stay nice and cool so I don't mind having them up close to a person if I am doing detailed photography or video. Light temp goes from 2700-5600k and what I REALLY like about the Glamcor lights is that they all have the same temperature settings so if you are using more than one set (which I do periodically) you don't have mismatched light temperature if that makes sense.I also like that the lighting controls are located on the unit (in addition to the remote) and not on the power cord as many cheaper units tend to have.A great kit.

This is a great lamp. It's useful for video shoots, or any lighting that needs to be portable. Simple taps control brightness and warm/cool color temperature. Easy to reposition, and the arms hold in place. The tripod is a little flimsy, but it's not a problem. This is much better for any repeated use than the cheap lights on the market for 80% cheaper. For my purposes, I would have preferred the more expensive model which has a 3rd middle arm for holding a mobile phone or camera.

This is such a great accessory/ tool to have. It’s perfect for anything really. I use it mostly for doing reviews on Amazon products. It does an excellent job at lighting up a specific area. You can bend the light any which way you want. Down, up, to the side. It doesn’t matter. It also comes with a very convenient carrying case and tripod that are both good quality. It makes it easy to travel with. I would recommend this portable light to anyone.

I was very excited to try out this GLAMCOR portable LED light. There are a lot of things to like about it: the two LED panels on adjustable gooseneck arms is a cool design; the storage/carrying case is extremely well designed; it's a nice, bright, portable light kit with lots of utility. Sadly, I found that it falls very short in the most important aspect of functionality: its light quality. There is horrible color fringing at the edge of the area of illumination. See my attached photo - this was taken with my iPhone and not retouched or saturated in any way. See how as the light falls off, there is yucky green fringing? I find that completely unacceptable in a lighting kit designed for beauty and photography, where quality of light is of utmost importance. I would expect that kind of problem in a cheap industrial LED light, but not in an expensive light of this nature. I think this fringing happens because the LED elements don't have diffusion that covers the whole panel; there are holes over each individual lighting element. This allows the illumination to be brighter but at the cost of light quality.The industrial design of the light and case is really cool and this would be a great kit if the quality of light were good. However, I can't recommend it for any application where quality of light matters because the color fringing is totally unacceptable.Another thing I hate about this light is the fact that it has no memory. If you turn it off and on again, it always goes back to its default setting even if the light remains plugged in, which means I have to reset the color temperature and brightness to my preferred setting EVERY SINGLE TIME I TURN IT ON, which is infuriating. A light at this price point SHOULD HAVE A MEMORY! You can use presets on the remote control but I shouldn't have to do that every time I turn on the light. One star. Don't give this company money if they can't even program a light to remember its last used settings.

I'm pretty happy with this so far. It's lightweight coming in at 6-1/2lbs including the case and is about the size of one of my larger tripods in its case. The only thing I've found so far was the case trolley sleeve will not fit over my Nanuk 935 handle, it needs to be at least 2" wider. I'll be using this most frequently in remote outdoor and offroad shoots. So I power it through a small power station which is no problem since it only pulls 46watts on high. I have a 200watt hour small brick power pack which actually fits in the light case, and a larger 1000watt hour station for longer lighting needs, such as general camp lighting. I love having these lights on the goosenecks. They can be easily positioned for multiple angles while only packing 1 light plant. And they stay where you place them, unless in high winds where it would be taken down anyway. The power, color temperature and brightness can be adjusted by both the remote and at the light. The control box on the light has an infrared sensor so the remote needs to be pointed at or near that sensor, and so far I've been able to control that from roughly 20 feet away. It's tripod is very lightweight thin aluminum with plastic set screws. It extends tall enough for the lights to reach 7 foot high while in a straight up position and the legs tightly grouped, great for area lighting. I wouldn't consider it to be the most durable of tripods, so care should be taken. The usable cord length is 9'8", which is fairly long with the light in the lowest tripod position, but once fully extended you'll need a power source within a few feet. At this point I have no complaints only a few gripes mentioned above. If something comes up I'll report back.Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

I am using this to photograph items for an Etsy shop. it lets me get the light exactly where I need it to be and provides really nice light.

I hate to leave it like this but this light doesn't even turn on! 2 out of 3 Glamcor products have been defective for me. For the price, it's entirely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend Glamcor. Never.

I love how easy is to assemble and that is portable. Perfect for my office or to carry with me to my client’s home.
