The tag states that the scoop should be hand washed in warm, soapy water and dried with a soft cloth. **Q: Does this make a 1 inch ball of cookie dough?** A: My recipe called for a 1” ball and should have made 48 cookies. I filled the scoop and scraped the excess off. I only got 32 cookies out of it. I would guess it imakes a 1 1/2 inch ball. **Q: What is the diameter of the scoop?** A: 1-1/2 inch diameter (width of scoop). The scoop is about 1 inch deep. It holds 4 US teaspoons which is 0.67 US ounces. I initially tried using it on a cookie batter, but it didn’t work with the sticky batter. Then tried it on a more set cookie dough and it broke immediately. I then put it back together and only used it on wet loose muffin batter and it was ehh but okay. Then the next time I tried using it on the loose batter it broke. All the pieces came apart and the movable part in the scoop got all bent.
