The surface is similar to a scrubbing sponge, which makes them great for scrubbing grime off surfaces. One of the things I appreciate is that they hold soap well and stay soapy as you clean, whether it's dishes or countertops. They don’t pick up crumbs as easily as a rag, but you can push crumbs into a pile and then pick them up that way. Another small adjustment was figuring out how to store them. With a standard rag, I would just drape it over the side of the sink. These cloths are stiffer, so they don’t hang the same way unless they’re very wet, in which case they stay in place better. Despite these minor differences, the positives far outweigh the negatives—especially the fact that they don't get smelly! I feel like everything I clean is genuinely cleaner because I’m not using something that holds onto unpleasant odors.

**Q: Can you wipe up the counters and dining table with these?**
A: For wiping countertops and table, I prefer a solid woven cloth like a typical dish cloth or my pile of old clean up cloths I keep.  These are a bit scratchy, just enough for pots, pans and gentle enough to scrub the china too and clean out the sink.  As they are porous, when you wipe a counter, they leave a water trail whereas a solid weave fabric wrung out, leaves less of that trail behind.  :)

**Q: Can we scrub a stainless steel sink with these with no problems?**
A: Yes, these cloths are wonderful. You can scrub a plastic or polycarbonate glass and leave no scratches. A stainless steel sink is no problem at all.

**Q: What are they made of?  What's the fabric content?**
A: Material: 100% nylonDry Time: About 15 minutes

**Q: Do these pick up stains?  Like from tomato sauces, etc?**
A: I've been using the yellow and green ones for over 2 weeks and they have no stains. I machine wash and dry them. I like them very much.

long lasting, great scrubbing cloth! It dries quickly without getting smelly. My DD introduced me to these a couple yars ago and I'm just now buying a second set! Three years ago my daughter gave me a Lunatec pad for my kitchen. It is in constant use and is still in great condition! I can scour ANYTHING with it and it leaves no scratches or rubbed areas on the surface. There is nothing that will break down and destroy the pad. It rinses easily and completely, and dries in minutes, never developing an odor. And it is comfortable to use, never making your fingertips tender.
