The quality is not very good (they pay attention to feedback), fit confy and look nice
I finally have time to sit and write this review. They fit comfortably, look nice, and got a little wet without being in contact with a lot of water (maybe I didn't tie them properly, I am not sure) I will test them again to see. The only reason I am giving this boots 3 stars is because of the quality of the material. Unfortunately they started to rip or come apart (see attached images) not even a month after I got them. I bought them a few months back in May. If the quality was better and would still be in good condition being that they were ordered only a few months back and only used in about 10 moderate and not super long hikes in Alaska, I would have given them 5 stars.Update: It appears that Xpeti stands by their brand and they offered and gave me a refund for these boots. I appreciate their excellent customer service and would like to give this brand another chance.

Great value, shockingly good
Deep tread, great waterproofing, amazing ankle support, cheap price. Everything I wanted. These get extensively used at my job, in the water, in the mud, up and down hills, and in seedy grasslands. Holding up so far!

Must size up, but great boots
I wear a size regular 7.5 shoes. I generally purchase a size 8 in stylish boots so I can wear socks for warmth. Initially, I purchased a size 8, however, the size 8 was too small. I returned and ordered a size 8.5. Once I got the size right, the boots were very comfortable (I wore regular socks and footies). I had to wear the boots during a work project everyday for 8 to 10 hours a day for 3 months - indoors and outdoors. I climbed stairs and hills, walked on wet and dry gravel, grassy and leafy terrain. I had great traction and toes were well protected (I tripped a couple times and did not feel the affects on my toes). My feet and ankles were well supported. The boots have a little weight to them, but at the end of each workday my feet felt great. At the end of rainy days other individuals spoke/complained about their wet feet - I swear some days I forgot that it had rain, because my feet were so dry. I wore the boots during the summer to fall months (between 50 and 90 degrees). My feet did not feel over heated nor were they sweaty. I used a damped cloth to clean the boots. I received a lot of compliments on the style and everyone thought the boots where expensive. I laughed to myself knowing they paid over or close to $200.00 for their boots. The only negative complaint that I have - you MUST purchase a whole size up (at least for females). I can’t wait to see how they hold up during the winter months.

Surprised Me
I am very active, and was looking for an affordable shoe that wouldn't break the bank. I was unsure about how this boot would work out for my hiking trip, but I'll tell you that the conditions that I put this boot in and how it held up really surprised me. Long story short, I didn't have to break this shoe in at all. I need really high arch support and this shoe definitely delivered. On the second day I had this pair, I hiked in the Colorado mountains through about 4 inches of snow, on an incline. Parts of the trail were muddy and squishy, and I never lost traction. My friends were slipping and sliding around and I was perfectly fine :D. I hiked on loose rocks on a decline and never slipped once. I hiked on sand dunes, and never got more than a small handful of sand in my shoe. I have splashed in puddles and standing water, and my feet never got wet. So far, I want to say I've hiked about 50 miles in these shoes, and they are still going strong - all while maintaining comfort. I ordered half a size up just because I knew I was going to be wearing a couple of layers of socks with the shoe, and even with only one pair, my foot didn't slide around inside. They are very warm, even when I was walking through the snow and was camping out in weather around 18 degrees (And they truly are wind resistant). However, after about three hours with weather in the teens, my toes started to get cold. This shoe also has ankle support, and has helped prevent me from rolling my ankles on uneven terrain more than a few times. I would definitely recommend this boot. It definitely went above and beyond my expectations!

Great For Weak Ankles
I bought these boots because I broke my right ankle and toe about ten months ago and I'm still having some pain, especially in the chilly winter, and I was looking for some footwear support. Thankfully I did not require surgery. I also have a history of bad sprains on that ankle. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 however after reading the reviews I ordered a size 8 and I'm super glad I did since even these eights are a little tight. However, it works for me because I was looking for extra foot and ankle support. The toe box is a bit tight and the shoe feels narrow to me. But, these provide such great support I can walk around all day with hardly any pain. I was busy yesterday and didn't wear them and I was hurting by the end of the day. They do make my feet a little stinky, I definitely need to get a big pack of tall socks, and they do take a little more time to lace up, but thank god for these boots. They're making a world of difference in my life. I would definitely buy them again but I might get an 8 1/2 next time instead of my usual 7 1/2.
