Let's Build
Was looking for flat pads for my son. Wanted a large section to cover this old craft table. Found these and couldn't be any happier! The stickiness of the backing is going to last for a long time and probably will take the top off. Also do not.discard the red backing till you have wrote down all of the Dad Jokes!!! Pricing is spot on. When mounting set one first and then use a couple bricks to align the others.

Lego Box
Used these to make a lego storage/play box for my kiddo, they work great. The glue is very strong, so be sure it's where you want it before you peel the backing. Also easy to score and snap to make smaller tiles for a custom fit, just have to snap and then cut through the adhesive. I used a smooth plastic tub and put the plates on the top, they stuck very nicely and no amount of prying took them off.

Great Product! Made a great brick building table!!
I made a Lego table for my son for this Christmas and just finished building it and thought someone might like some instructions on how I did it. We purchased an IKEA Lack coffee table first, the dimension of that are 35 3/8” L by 21 5/8” W and I bought 2 packages of the Peel ‘n Stick Baseplates (4 green for grass & 4 blue for water). What fits edge to edge length wise on the table are 3 full baseplates and a half of 1 baseplate. I stuck down all 4 greens then 2 blue baseplates then I took a blue baseplate and figured out where to cut it. Turns out exactly in half was correct (16 bumps on each side). I lined it with Lego bricks and on top of a wooden cutting board, scored along the bricks with a utility knife. You need to push down and go over the line a few times then it snapped easily on the scored line. By far the trickiest part is getting the baseplates stuck where you want them. Once they are stuck, they’re stuck. It’s helpful to have a few Legos on hand to make sure you’re lining the baseplates up correctly. Of course I managed to be about an infinitesimal fraction of a millimeter off where one green plate meets up with a blue plate and the Legos are a bit tricky getting them connected on that line but I don’t think my 6 year old will notice! When putting the half baseplates on, I ‘LEGO-ed them together’ with the full size baseplate and stuck them at the same time to make sure they matched up. I had one blue baseplate left over and stuck it to the bottom shelf on the coffee table. The baseplates do smell a bit, which is the adhesive but seems like the smell will dissipate quickly. These were exactly what I was looking for!

These are awesome
This adhesive baseplates are awesome! They stick extremely well and Legos fit on them perfectly. If you read the instructions they give helpful hints on how to best measure and cut your baseplates before placing them. We followed those instruction and had no issues at all.I did remove one star for this reason; these do have an extremely strong smell when you first remove the paper backing. I get migraines from certain scents and this definitely triggered one. If I were to need to stick these somewhere again, I would wait for a nice day so I could do it outside or at least be able to ventilate the room. We did not allow the kids to shut the door their Lego table was in for at least 24 hours because the smell was strong. After a day the smell disappeared though and there is no lingering issue.Maybe a ventilation suggestion would be helpful on the packaging.Overall a great product though that does what it says it will do.

Very sticky
This a a great lego base. Fits legos and off brand legos. Very sticky, can’t move it after it’s placed on a surface.

Easy to Use! Creative solution!
I bought these to make for a table that was high enough for 6YOs as a gift to friends. I regretted that the "ready made" table I bought from a reputable kids brand was getting too short for my own 6YO. There weren't reasonably-priced, well-constructed tables for older kids (which is silly since kids beyond the toddler age are really the ones who can apply Lego instructions and truly build), so I did an "IKEA hack" with these. My friend wanted a storage solution, so I found the perfect table with interchangeable bins (IKEA Flisat series), and I adhered these base plates on top of the bin covers (see photos). The instructions were very clear and helpful, and we ended up using one 10 x 10" plate plus 8 rows of another plate so they could sit perfectly on the bin lids. (This idea works for those who don't need a huge Lego surface and need a multi-purpose table). That way, when the lids were flipped over with the plate-side down, the Lego plates fit within the bin, making for an even surface for other table uses. I was quite proud of myself. The product was well constructed, easy to cut/snap-off (we followed the directions, using Lego pieces to ensure alignment from one plate to the next), and the Legos fit perfectly on them. The adhesive back was very convenient. I drew some marks on the lids of the table after careful measurement, and stuck these on. Highly recommend! We even had leftover plates we'll use for our own wall, just for fun.
