Mighty Bright 61032 Vusion Craft Light, Silver

Excellent little light. There are two settings; super bright and bright. Perfect for sewing and other crafts. The magnifying glass works great. You can adjust the arms to any position you need them. It's small, the base fits in the palm of my hand but that also makes it easier to take to different places and not worry about lugging around a huge work lamp or dealing with extension cord since it uses batteries.

Great for crafts! Super bright LED light that has full brightness and click it again and its 1/2 brightness. Also it has a magnet in the base! The clip is nice for reading and really useful because it can detach from the base. Long battery life too!. The magnifying glass has enough magnifying power that I love using it for cross-stitch!

Ok, so I've used this light for several years. Yes, the original batteries are still going. I like the light (although I think now it is getting dimmer) and the magnification and clarity are excellent although the glass lens could be larger. What really drives me nuts is the clip. Yes, it clamps to a hoop frame, but it is a weak hold. I've tried other clips on other light products and have put a rubber band around them to strengthen the grip on the hoop and I'm sure you could do that to this one as well, but I've not tried. Also, sometimes the flexible neck gets droopy. Overall it's a good light, I just wish they would engineer it to be perfect with bigger glass and a tight clip.

My daughter and I like to do very detailed stitching products and I don't know how I could manage without this light and magnifying glass. My eyes aren't very good, but I can see perfectly using this product. It clips on easily to round or square rods. It's perfect and I love it!!

I am a big fan of the Mighty Brite company as I have several of their products......reading light, orchestra light for music stand, magnifying light that hangs around neck for close-up work, and now this light. It has a magnet on the bottom, which I attach to the music stand I use for viewing my cross stitch patterns. I'm able to attach it to the stand and use the light and magnifying glass right over my work. It is a plus to be able to move the magnifier to the side when it is not needed. The only thing I wish was different is that it was a bit larger.

Okay, this thing has SOME utility, but it also has some basic design flaws. The base isn't quite heavy enough to support the weight of the light and magnifying glass unless they are looped back over the base, which means the base is right where you need to place the object you are working on. Slipping something heavy into the clip will solve that problem, but the stalks also wear out quickly and are no longer stiff enough to keep the light and magnifying glass in the proper position.The base is magnetic, which can be handy, but the clip/battery holder pops out of the base too easily. The light has two LEDs, and you can have both of them on, or just one to reduce light levels and battery usage - with both LEDs on, it's bright enough to be useful. The magnifying glass is small, and only has a short range where it will be properly in focus due to its small size.Bottom line: what I really needed was a desk-mounted swivel arm light/magnifying glass combo, and I should have spent the $50 to get one. This got me by for a short period of time, and it IS portable, but I'd have been better off with the bigger, more expensive magnified light.

A friend recommended this product, and I'm SO GLAD she did. She loves her unit and I love mine! Unit is lightweight and functional. I had trouble getting the battery compartment cover off , so I called the company. Great customer service! The rep stayed on the phone with me until I figured out how to get the cover off. I highly recommend this product and company. Love this purchase! So happy!

This is a little light to set on a kitchen table to do a fast few stitches of mending.It is very light weight and doesn't stay in one place very long. I did not purchase a transformer plug; powered it with batteried-which lose their power quickly. This is too flimsy to be of much help.
