The Wright StuffComfort Cape Original Classic Black

As increasing age and infirmity makes bending back (or forward) impossible and painful for me, I found this some 10 years ago and am only now replacing it as it got damaged during a move.This is a wonderful product and the only practical one out there. I do have some issues with it. The closures are a nightmare! The interlocking clip things can only be fastened by someone standing in front of you, but closing it with just the clips does NOT result in a tight enough seal to keep water from getting on you. It's happened to me dozens of times. The velcro is better, but it's attached oddly so is not easy to use and to make sure you are getting a tight fit you have to hold the ends. HOWEVER, I am not saying this is not a great thing, because it allows me and many others continue to get their hair done when illness, injury or just old age makes it too painful or simply impossible to get the hair washed the usual way. If these closures were updated with newer technology, AND added a piece of the "nylon" material it's made of to go around the front of the neck, with the closures on top of this, it would make it perfect. When done correctly one stays dry. Also be sure the shoulders are straight and that the cape falls straight from them into the sink. Be sure to plus a towel around the neck under the "cape" to project from leakage. Some trial and error is required to customize this product for your exact needs. With better closures this would be a 5 star product. Wide, soft - maybe with a little foam to cushion the tight fit needed to keep dry. This would be perfect.

Did not work so well. I returned it because it was to bulky. I was bummer because I really need something for my older clients.

Great invention... still working on how to combat the water from dripping down the back of the neck.

Since my wife is wheelchair bound we use the powerchair to elevate her to the sink and the cape is perfect to wash her hair. She loves it and it keeps her dry and the water flowing into the sink. Great product.
