Litter Pearls Micro Crystals Unscented Non-Clumping Crystal Cat Litter with Odorbond, 10.5 Pounds

Favorite crystal cat litter. Switched from traditional litter to this a few years ago and never looked back. Dust level is minimal and easy to clean litter pans with this type of litter. My cats seem to enjoy it more than the other litter as well. If they are happy then so am I! I have a subscription to help save money, but it's price is comparable to others.

This stuff is basically magic. I'm not going to lie and say that it's dust free, because it isn't... when you pour it there *will* be a cloud, and you will choke a bit. That being said, odor control is top notch. It doesn't clump, so sifting for cat poop is a breeze. It's very absorbent and doesn't stick to the litter box, so it's easy to do a deep clean on the box. The color change is gradual, but very clear, so you know when it's been saturated and needs to be completely replaced. The granules are tiny so it doesn't hurt my cat's feet. My big fat girl doesn't complain about stepping on it like she did with regular crystals, and my kitten thinks it's great fun to dig. Oh, and best of all it *doesn't track* I've tried all the other brands that people say are the best, and without exception they're all equally crappy, or otherwise unsuitable.

I like the urine and odor absorption IN the litterbox, but it tracks EVERYWHERE. And since it's mostly clear/white, I can't see it on my tile floor... but I feel it when I step on it. :|

This litter is technically out of our price range but we buy it anyway because it works. There is gonna be some tracking of this litter but if you get one of those litter catching mats, it makes it easy to clean up and prevents some of the litter xfer. We have two cats that drink a lot of water and sometimes we get 4-6 weeks out of two bags. Non clumping but dries it out so it’s easy to scoop.

So this highly positive review is for the purple bad that is labeled “soft on paws” I give that 5 stars! The green bag labeled “comfort pearls” I give 3 stars. Those beads are much larger and my young kitten would think they were a toy and chase them around on the floor, gross! Maybe those are good for older cats, but definitely not young playful 10 month old cats 🤣 Ok back to the purple/ pink bag. It works great at controlling the odor. We have two litter boxes, 1 per cat. When we got our new kitten she had skin sensitivities, so one of the things we thought might be causing her issues was the clay litter. Especially since she would dip her paws in the water bowl to help clean them (yes her behavior was cleaning her paws in the water dish). So we decided to try crystal litter. I would say, this overall causes less mess then the clay litter (Dr. Elsey’s) we were using. Also, far better at control 💩 odors. I do notice the urine smell more though. I also notice that I get urine leakage through the liner in the litter box. Though the litter box does contain it, so I just put a pee pad between the liner and box for sanitary reasons. I do notice I have to stir the litter twice a week to help keep the crystals moving around. My cats tend to pee in the same spot, so that is also probably why I get urine leakage since some crystals are in contact with moisture more than others. I scoop 💩 twice weekly out of the box as well. I’ve been using this litter for about 4/5 months now and I will say with scooping/ storing twice a week, I do swap litter completely once a month. So the 30 day promise they give us accurate for my house.

The product works for the most part. I think it’s more that you get so much rather than it is outstanding. It gets absolutely everywhere as it is so small and easily sticks to the kitty’s paws. We had the covers over our boxes, and the litter is still all over the bathroom the boxes are in. And tracked throughout the carpet in the room they walk through to the bathroom. There is also dust absolutely everywhere when you empty this. I always wear a mask as I can literally taste everything when I am scooping or emptying in the fine particles in the air. There is still a smell, and all the liquid waste falls to the bottom of the box where it will pool and collect wetness even when scooped clean. But what kills me is I have been on subscribe and save with this product for 8 months, and out of no where it just jumps up 30%. The product just is not worth paying that much more when there’s similar out there for less than it was before the increase.

I use this for my litter robot. It’s low dust and low tracking. Easy to clean up and scoop.

Cats did not like it at first but soon got used to it works good with the pet safe auto tray.

Je n'ai pas trouvé mieux que la silice, mais lorsque les grains sont très gros, comme ceux de la Tigerino par exemple, le pipi de chat a tendance à traverser la litière jusqu'au fond du bac. Cette silice est tellement fine qu'elle absorbe très vite le liquide qui ne stagne jamais. Du coup, elle dure bien plus longtemps et ne sent pas mauvais !
