For office work, this size small mouse pad works perfect. For gaming, you'd need to look for bigger sizes.The aluminum surface is very clean, and has an almost "gritty" texture that gives you just the right amount of friction/resistance as you glide your mouse over.One minus is that it's a little bent. I doubt it's the product, but more how it was shipped. It was shipped in a bag, not a box, and the mailman shoved it into my small mailbox that barely fit the package.Not hard to imagine how it was led to bend like this during the shipping process.Other than that, it's good pad.

I ordered this aluminum mousepad because I wanted to have the aluminum surface under the mouse.Instead, I got an aluminum facing the bottom and a rubber mat facing the top. Result?The mouse cursor drags slowly and there's this terrible feeling under my hand. FAIL!So... why not peel the rubber feet off and flip them to the bottom? Yeah, I tried that.The rubber feet are stickers that start to fall apart. You can see in the third picture what will happen when they come off. A huge sticker mess. For this reason, I am giving this 1 star. I'm tempted to send it back.

I wanted a *thin* mousepad so as to not have an edge that rubs against my wrist. This mousepad is definitely thin, so it meets my criteria. I do find that it being aluminum makes it cold, however. That is not a deal breaker, but it is noticeable. Also, the smooth side may skid across your desk surface, so the pads may be needed if you want to have that side down. Overall, a good mousepad. I am happy with it.

I do shuffle along on the carpet and it was a nice shock the first few times I reached for it. Lesson learned.

Not what I thought. Looks very nice the switch on my mouse will scrape against this. I also can see that possibly the coating on this wearing off over time. Than you are left with a trivet for you hot bowl of soup. Nice but no for me.

Perfect for my glass-topped desk. Classy. Doesn’t wear out or get funky like a fabric or plastic pad. I If I really would change one thing, maybe make it 2 cm bigger. Wish I’d discovered these long ago.

Tracks great with my Apple Magic Mouse. It’s a little loud when gliding the mouse across the aluminum side. The pad stays put on my desktop really well without the supplied feet when the leathery side is down.It looks great and is nicely finished.

So much better than any cloth covered pad, and I don't have to worry about scratching up my wood desk.
