Multiple reviews mention misprints but I still gave it a chance. I was wildly disappointed when I opened my package and found only a sheet of cardstock paper with a very poorly printed picture of the cover of the book. I messaged the seller where they said they couldn't find my order number and to contact desertcart instead. Review: Had to get this for the grandkids when I saw it. This was my son's favourite book when he was little. It is a delightful and simple story that has stood the test of time. Still love it!

Had to get this for the grandkids when I saw it. This was my son's favourite book when he was little. It is a delightful and simple story that has stood the test of time. Still love it!

such a charming and memorable story! The simple text and repetitive rhythm make it perfect for reading aloud, and the illustrations are full of character. My toddler loves the silly monkeys and the peddler’s frustration—it's always a favorite at storytime. A classic book every child should have on their shelf!
