I've not had any issues with the cleaner removing any dry erase marker, no matter how long it has been on a whiteboard or a dry erase surface. I will just say it does not remove permanent marker, though, nor does it remove dry erase marker from a different type of surface. A fellow teacher once mistakenly wrote with a dry erase marker on a projection screen and this did not work to remove it. But if you use it for its intended purpose, it should work great. **Q: Approximately what is the longevity of each marker? Do the darker colors last longer than the brighter colors?** A: I have been using these markers a few times a week for a few months and only one of them has run dry. **Q: Why won't amazon let me return this? These are complete garbage, no ink or dried ink.** A: The markers I got work great I've had them for about 2 months now.
