Q: Should we keep the cotton wad in the bottle or can we remove it and toss after opening the bottle?

You should ALWAYS chuck out the cotton. Think of it like this, everytime I touch it, and perhaps put it down on table/counter etc., it’s absorbing germs, dirt , dust, & then- putting it back into the bottle, thus contaminating the contents of inside bottle.

How much elemental zinc is in each tablet. It doesn’t state “the elemental zinc” on the container?

The Supplement Facts panel on all products states the elemental amounts for the nutrients listed. For example, if the Supplement Facts panel states, "Zinc (as Zinc Gluconate) 50 mg", then 50 mg is the elemental amount of zinc, and not the whole amount of zinc gluconate.
